If you have a network connection (internet duh) on your psp the you can us ethe network update to upgrade to 3.11 RIGHT NOW! it gives you

-Visualisations for music playing (like in window media player but less choppy)
-3 FF and Rewind speeds for music playing
- teh ability to use the camera (sold separatley
- the ability to connect with ps3
-a certificate utility (i dunno either)
-and MORE!!!!

i should do sales pitches! im just teling you guys cause when i did this i squeeled like a lil girl! ITS AWXOME!

All that were actually introduced in the 3.0 Firmware (I believe). The 3.11 Firmware only expands the titles of PSX games the PSP can play when downloaded from the PSN with the PS3.

When I first got all this I almost squeeled too. It was awesome indeed.

No, don't ungrade to 3.XX!! it causes your PSP to lose the ability to be downgraded until further notice.

I'd rather have a 3.X OE PSP than a 3.XX

Plus, it comes with the famed PopStation PSX Emulator!

I've had first hand use with all of these, the only way to brick your PSP is to be an idiot and not follow the instructions carefully.

PopS is a full speed, powerful emulator, especially for the PSP. The graphics are running at the PSP's full potential, the input is perfect, it's amazing!

Too bad my motherboard's cracked.
