Character Creation

Rules of creation:

0.Those who participate are given prizes from my inventory or bank.
I also encourage Player versus Player battles with wagers of Gaian gold.
I also take donations for competitions and tournament prizes.

1. You are to follow the Game Master's directions that correspond with the success rate of your actions (skills/battles). This purpose is to ensure that all game play is fair and random. I believe unplanned stories end up failing do to lack of order.

2.Follow all directions and ask any questions or help setting up a character
for specific skills.

3.Those whom take on disadvantages for character receives a choice of limited skills or points.

4.Characters who are rolled for each attribute are given a chance of beginning with a stronger character.

More rules may be given at any time but nothing too sweat over.
I will add a detailed instructions for your points and skills.
I am currently setting up a character sheet.

_____________________________________________________________

(HP)HEALTH - how much damage your character can take before your ko'd *6
(SAN)SANITY - how much magic damage before your ko'd *6
(MEL)MELEE - this is how much physical damage your character can do
(MP)MAGIC - this is how much magic damage your character can do
(DEF)DEFENSE - this is your ability to resist physical damage
(WP)WILLPOWER - this is your ability to resist magic damage

you have 14 points to spread between the stats.
no stat can be higher than 4.
no stat can be lower than 1.

each point represents a 6 sided die (hereafter referred to as a D6)
to attack you pick your type of attack and roll that many dice. add them together to get your total attack value for that attack
the player you attack defends with the appropriate defense power and rolls that many dice. add them together to get your total defense for that attack.

divide the total attack value by the total defense value (drop remainder) to find out how much damage is dealt.

Attribute system: On character creation all attributes begin at 1. Then you are allowed to spend an additional 8 to your choice. After each battle I will determine how well you have done. I give experience points to the winner based on originality, sportsmanship, creative RP. Newbies are given a handicap on their wins. I also allow each character to earn additional experience points from training. However training comes from great RP participation and number of posts. If I feel you deserve an exp. point, you will be credited.

once you have 4 exp. points saved you may trade them in to add one point to a permanent stat (or attribute point)

If a player wants to completely change their characters stats they may at the cost of 4 exp. points. Each time after you wish to rearrange your points again, it will cost 4 points multiplied by the number of times you change your states. (1=4, 2=8, 3=12 ect.)

Skills and how they work: Skills only require 1 experience point to learn, and 4 exp points each permanent stat you add. Through RP participation you may learn skills but you may only learn skills from others whom obtained that skill or through RP of a training program.

Success system: When it comes to executing a skill or action that is not easily determined by the die rolls of an attack or signature move, then the Game Master may ask you to make a success roll of your action. Based on the roll the Game Master will then give the necessary information for the character to move on with their RP

Signature moves: After each battle you are given 1 experience point. This point may be spent anywhere on your attributes or signature moves. With this point you may create a new signature move for your character or add to an exsisting one. Each time you execute a signature move you lose one point until the end of the battle. Even if this move is defended by a lucky roll you still lose the point. Once you have spent all your points on said signature move you may no longer use it until a new battle. The more points you have the more you will be able to use these moves.

Unique Items: These Items are given out through the stories or prizes from tournaments. I encourage participants to quest for items to help their characters in this RP.

im in the process of building a character and i notice that Zei already has a signature move.
