There were once 2 lovers that sought a goal within the city of Vizaak. Their goal was evil and maniacal and it was to summon the giant bird-demon, Ato-Mus. The two were promptly eaten by the demon.
Ato-Mus rose up to the skies and destroyed the grand city of Vizaak and leaving it as a pile of garbage. Thousands died, and everyone else was injured. The world around Vizaak was terrorified and they developed technology to seal up that city for good, in fear that the demon Ato-Mus would come after them as well.
Somewhere in that mess of a city, though, lies the one thing to permanently seal away Ato-Mus. Its an ancient relic that is said to be a sword with a silver hilt.
Now 15 years later, a small group of enhanced soldiers are boasting that they will go into hell itself and stop Ato-Mus.
What they don't know is that one of them is a reincarnation of one of the young lovers who died, one of the will betray them all and one of them shall die...

The Lovers
Lorena, she was a young and beautiful woman with long red hair and eyes that could pierce through anyone's heart and soul. She was a practioner of the dark arts in magic and Necromancy.
Markus, he was the quiet, nerdy boy who wore glasses and casual street wear. No one could understand why Lorena would fall in love with him.

It color layout is variations of the color purple and all else white. (Shadings = the purples and white spots = white) Outside Armor: Rend has short, red hair and almond-shaped, green eyes. She has a swimmer build and could be considered the shortest in the group, standing at 5'2". Bio: Rend was 5 when they took her and adapted her to the Beowulf Project. Enemies
Ato-Mus
Ato-Mus, a highly feared demon from the depths of Hell. He represents guilt and angst and uses them to fuel his power. He is the reason the world is terrorified on a daily basis and why Alpha Squad was created.
In appearance, he is what you would call a Chimera, or a fusion of different animals. He has a bird's head with goat horns on the very top. He has a long neck, evenly lined with feathery, tiny wings. As his neck reaches his body, the feathers turn into a flush of white fur going down his front and scales that cover his back and his dinosaur-like tail that is massive in-size. He, also, has giant wings that are capable of creating whirlwinds, or so the legends say.
Zombies
Ato-Mus, with his phoenix-like powers, ressurected the fallen people of the city to do his bidding. They are not as slow as movies and books fable them, but they do have a slow reaction time and can easily be taken down.

Extras
Alpha Squad is a direct result of experimentation known as "The Beowulf Project." All members of Alpha Squad have super-human strength and are able to carry more heavy weapons than usual men and women. Alpha Squad has been outfitted with full-body armor with built in HUDs that keep them in touch with one another as in, they know where each other are and how far. The HUDs also display enemies on their radar and has a constant view of Ato-Mus' location.
Their armor was varied so they can tell themselves apart from one another.
[aka, your suit can look different from the others as long as it isn't a huge deviation.]
Weapons
Alpha Squad is outfitted with: an Assault Rifle each, a handgun each, 1 anti-armor Rocket Launcher, and a Sniper Rifle. They may, however, not be limited to these weapons because there are sure to be weapon shops scattered across Vizaak.
People/Survivors
If Alpha Squad encounters any people, those people DO NOT, repeat, DO NOT take top priority. They are to be escourted to a safe spot but NOT to be guarded.
Alpha Squad
Because of protocol, Alpha Squad is NOT to address each other by names on missions. You refer to them by number or even a nickname:
Renata is to be called as, "Oh-One" or "H-K" (aka, Hunter-Killer),

Side Notes:
+This is a Fantasy RP, yes, but there aren't any cat people, dog people etc. Just humans and monsters.
+The survivors are INSIDE VIZAAK. There are no survivors on the outside unless they were on vacation/out on business, anything that gave them an excuse to not be there when the horrible event took place.
+None of the squad members have powers. No psychic powers, no elemental powers, nothing like that. One of the members (and this will be someone I pick) will start developing another personality as one of the spirits of the teenagers takes over their body over time, but I won't say if they develop any powers or not.
+Ask me questions if you aren't sure about things. I will most likely add your confusion to this list. <3
