Hey all! Welcome to Buffy's Room! I want everyone to be comfortable here and feel free to talk about anything even if it's not Buffy related. To break the ice a little bit, how about we do some introductions! If you are new, and have not yet introduced yourself, post and let us know a little bit about you. I'm a little torn as far as what I want to do with my life. I'd like to either be a computer programmer, or a Japanese translator. I got introduced to Buffy by a fluke. I just happened to watch the first episode and got hooked!
Besides Buffy I enjoy anime, music-video games, techno music, computers, programming, graphic design and cats. I found the guild because I co-created it! LOL I am very excited for this guild and I know it's going to blow up and be huge!! smile And yes, I've posted myself on the map. wink

Name: Sam Age: 23 Location: Michigan  How did you get introduced to Buffy: Funny story. My former best friend (before I met you) got me hooked on it. So I just think it's weird how everything is connected. She got me into Buffy, I made the Buffy chat room - which got me into you, and it's like an entire ripple effect of goodness. I felt strangely drawn to the whole concept, it just seemed interesting to me. I knew the show would be highly successful right of the bat. Interests besides Buffy: Writing, roleplaying games, video games, anime, mini golf. How you found the guild: We made the guild. Name: Abraham Age: 23 Location: Just outside of Salty City, Utah How did you get introduced to Buffy: Flipping through channels on my second honeymoon, we came across "Once More With Feeling" the first time it was broadcast. Hooked ever since then. Interests besides Buffy: Internet memes in gerneral, anime, video games, music in general but particularly indie rock and it's offshoots(especially lo-fi), firefly, freaks & geeks, guitar.

How did you get introduced to Buffy: I used to watch a lot of TV, and I saw one episode and have been hooked forever. Heck, I just watched an episode this morning I've seen many times before, and I still got excited at the end when Anya shut off the radio talking about the thefts in Sunnydale, and quickly fofers to buy everyone ice cream ^^
Interests besides Buffy: Furuba is a new passion of mine. Endless-online, DnD (classic geek), volunteer work, RPing, video games, socialing with my friends all over the place ^^ Yes, we do play Walmart tag where the person whose it wears the giant wire bra.

Anything else you would like to let us know: My parents are moving this summer, so depending I may or may no be able to afford the internet gonk Growing up bites. Also I'm a big procrastinator. That Interpersonal Communication paper is writing itself right now ^^

Name: Courtney Age: 24 Location: Beautiful Southern Illinois How did you get introduced to Buffy: My friends all watched it in high school, but I didn't get a chance to see more than a few episodes. One of my good friends started buying up the DVD collections, and I finally got a chance to see what all the hype was about. Interests besides Buffy: RPGs (console and tabletop, D&D and Mage being my favorites), wasting time online (collecting OC art, reading fanfics, geekin' it up), karaoke, dining out, carousing, camping, reading outside on a pretty day, playing in the rain, all the pleasures and pains associated with romance and attraction. Sorry I didn't come her second, but anyway, here it goes!

I'm fourteen.
I live in the Northwest heart I LOVE it here!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I found out about Buffy through a random commercial that came on a few years ago around Christmas. It was for Entropy, and I thought, hey, I should check that out. I actually watched Angel first, and it was the episode where there's that rogue slayer that goes crazy and Spike goes to get her and she cuts off his hands. It was a good episode. Love at first sight. Or rather love the first time Spike opened his mouth and said something priceless and witty, which he does often. Anyway. sweatdrop
My other interests are: psychology, writing, sarcasm, thinking, friends, family, hard physical labor ( as long as it's fun, and yes, that is possible) sparing and art of any kind, as long as it's to my taste, which is extensive and varied. I don't dress like it but I love punk and goth style.
I found this guild through OhMyGoddess. We are close friends that go to the same school.
Um..... can't think of anything else.
