IC and OOC Owner stats..Real Owner Name - AvynWing Age - 20 Gender - He/She/It. Location - England Personality - Herself . That about sums her up really, she is a little quirky, and slightly eccentric, but she takes his resonsibilityes seriouly, and most people with a pinch of salt. Likes - Sho-Chan (among other things) Dislikes - Anyone who disses Sho-Chan. Spiders. The Dark. The Guardian of Hemlocke Name - Shino Akitoshi Nickname - Shi-Kun Age - 22 Star Sign - Gemini Birthday - June 7th Personality - Shino is a quiet young man, he has his skeletons in his closet and makes sure to keep them under lock and key, as his problems are fundementaly his own, and he wouldnt want anyone else to have to deal with them. He is quiet a lot of the time, its just part of his nature, as he hads a soft voice, but is usually an easy friend to make. Just dont expect anythign more from him. Romance, due to somehting that happened three years ago, and is still haunting him, is pretty much off the cards... How can a heart breaker ever be trusted to love again...? Occupation - Bartender Height - 5ft 10ins Build - Medium to slim, lightly toned. Blood type - O Likes - His friends, his family, his orb, his job for the most part.. Dislikes - People thinking they know more than him when they dont.. being antagonised... his friend being hurt... talking about 'him'... Story - Shiro was a very normal person, a very normal person with an odd past, but that was his secret.. he didnt tell any one.. He wasnt proud of it at all.. Who would be though? Who would be proud of breaking somones heart? Three years before he'd been in a car accident, and a knock to the head had left him in a coma for three months. He'd come round, but there had been a problem, his brain had taken a knock and the part of it that controlled his memory have been damanged. There were signs that it was replairing itself, but that wasnt entirely certain. During that time, the time where they had been missing, a span of about a year and a half he had gotten close to somone, another young man by the name of Koji, they had been very close in fact, lovers as far as it went, and Koji had helped him adjust to a world where he was almost an alien, but things took a bad turn, when the memories came back, which they did in full, the 18months he had been through before were blotted out as if they never happened. And he completely forgot who Koji was... They had tried to work things out.. but it had been too hard, the memories that Koji still had were missing for Shiro, so in the end they just seperated.. They still keep in touch now and then, Koji still hopes that Shiro will remember him, love him even, but to Shiro he is still just an unknown face, and corespondance with him is often very painful for the young man, as he cannot ever forgive himself for hurting Koji like he his, he just doesnt feel the way Koji wants him to about him, and lieing about it would be worse as far as he is concerned.

Day One It turned up after Shiro had spent a full night crying, among other things. He hurt himself, it was daft, he knew it, but he just couldn’t seem to stop doing it, it was because of the memories that still tugged at him, hidden away where he could never see them again and the e-mail he had gotten from Koji.. He'd been so sad and lonely and he'd fallen asleep wishing above everything for someone he could get close to again.. Someone he could actually love... And then this had been there.. it was a weird occurrence. It had just been settled in his hand when he had awoken, it was warm, he had almost not noticed it at first, but there it was, this little round ball with swirling… were they stars…? in it. It was beautiful. He had found himself strangely relaxed when held it in his hand, it was so warm, and it was almost as if there was a pulsing energy about it. It made him feel at ease, this was something special, this was a little glass treasure… But soon he would find there was more to his little treasure than first met the eye.

Day Two The second day that he was in possession of the small glass orb Shiro had work in the evening, but the day to himself. He went out and picked up a few items of shopping, the small orb in his pocket the whole time. Nothing fun really, toilet rolls, some bleach, some random bits and pieces he thought he needed, enough to get him by for the week basically. When he got home he set the small orb down on the side, and began setting things in the correct places, when he was about half way through he heard a weird noise, a rumble, but very quiet… What was it…? He looked around and with a shocked look on his face he saw the orb was rolling, not in a straight line either! It was moving on it own! His jaw dropped… What on earth was going on… He didn’t end up going to work that night, for the first time in a long while he pulled a sicky, he was that curious about his orb.

Day three Work at last, but the day didn’t go as expected, he was working Kira’s early shift, finishing while it was still well light, and ended up spending the day with Kazuki… That was definitely unusual, as he didn’t really see his friend very much if he was honest, as much as he liked the guy. They both had one of these strange round glass things, and that was odd enough, Kazuki had named it, and it was almost nice not to feel alone, but the day took a wobble when He somehow found himself spilling his dark past to his friend, and spent the night wishing he hadn’t, his fingers curled the whole time around the small orb, liking the comforting sensation it gave him, and listening to its soft trilled song, that sounded almost teasing and discordant at time, it made him smile, like the orb was telling him some little joke or other. He fell asleep, holing it still, right near him, it was already beginning to mean the world to him, this little stone, and he couldn’t hut it could he…? You couldn’t hurt something made from glass if you forgot it after all.

Day Four He had a lazy day today, he found that as long as he had the orb with him, he didn’t always need to be touching it to benefit from the close and caring sensation it gave him, and as he cleaned his home, the small round orb followed him, rolling along the floor after him, simply tailing him wherever he went. It made him smile, and before long cleaning was forgotten in favour of playing with Hemlocke, as he had named it. So maybe he had read one too many strange books, he liked weird names… it made him smile. Obstacle courses soon littered his living room, and he ad found, quite by accident that the small orb made the happiest little noise when it was dropped from a very low height into a squishy feathery cushion. It was a fun game, and the happy trills were amusing, it was like playing with a small child, it was an entertaining thought. He slept that night with a smile on his face for the first time in a long while, it was all down to the orb, and as he slept his dreams didn’t cause him to toss and turn through fear or misery.

Day Five The day past mostly uneventfully, the orb seemed sulky however, it didn’t want to respond to him when he played with it, and this made Shiro a little uneasy. What had he done to offend his orb…? When he picked it up it felt cold, unless he started to worry, then it warmed up again, letting him know, he fancied, that it was okay. He was still concerned though, and spent the night, once he got back from work, with it trying to roll off of his knees! What had he done really! The mist inside, when he looked, seemed more solid, more densely packed, was it getting too big..? What on earth was this thing anyway..? He gave up in the end, and let it settle on his pillow a little was away from him, feeling slightly disconnected without it in his hand. His rest was still uneasy, but about half way through the night things seemed to settle down again, and his nightmares went away.

Day Six When he woke up normality had been restored, his little orb was cuddled up against his neck, though the stars on the inside seemed less bright somehow… And the mist was much more still. He cradled the orb against him, was I sick? Had he done something bad to it…? He’d only had Hemlock a week, he couldn’t have messed things up that badly could he…? He sighed, and just stroked his fingers over the glass, it was still warm, and that was something at least. He went about the day more slowly than usual, and work dragged on, he’d left the orb at home today, fearing that maybe the smoke in the bar was bad for it, and he was anxious to get back to it. When he did get home however he found the orb unchanged, still strange looking, still more sedate than he was used to… But it was still there, and it still hummed softly to him as he scooped it up. Hemlocke had to be okay…
