what about radioheads step into electronica, blues, and jazz? does that still make them just a rock band or does that mean they are starting to enter progressive territory?

the-kick-in-the-throat what about radioheads step into electronica, blues, and jazz? does that still make them just a rock band or does that mean they are starting to enter progressive territory? That means that they are a rock band with influences from other genra 3nodding not that they are progressive as a genre, their music may be progressive for rock, but it doesn't make them play progressive rock. try listen to rush, then you can hear the difference between multiple influenced rock and progressive rock.

I may step on a few toes with this, but in my humbly deified opinion, their genres are all "Suck-core" for not being metal..

Static Jackal I may step on a few toes with this, but in my humbly deified opinion, their genres are all "Suck-core" for not being metal.. I think you need to be more open minded. There's a lot of great not metal music.

There's not been anything released that's worth a damn since the 80's. No.

Well, I'm going to have to disagree with you. I believe every decade has yielded their own interesting, unique, and talented musicians, all spanning a wide variety of genres.
