So, you’ve been playing our roleplay and you want to contribute to our community. Here’s a great way you can help: recruit. As you know, we keep a recruitment thread here. It’s the gate to the rest of Gaia.

There are a few problems with this thread. It can only be in the Guild Forum. There are so many other guilds advertising in the forum that few people go there looking to join a superhero roleplay. In addition, we simply can’t post enough to keep the thread on the front page 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Rest assured, there’s a way to seek out new members: Barton OOC. We’re not allowed to post advertising threads in that forum, but we can watch the forum for people who want to join a roleplay. Plenty of potential players create threads seeking recruiters to contact them.

If you want to help us out, you can look for people who are looking for a roleplay. When you find them, be sure to refer them to our recruitment thread.

I had forgotten that idea! That would be spectacular, we'd just have to set up a pasty-run thread and a politician run thread, but what would we do for neutral character, or characters that want to roleplay their journey to good or evil, like I'm doing with Jay? Would we have to have three threads?

I say that the current LoSI thread remain as the neutral thread, whilst the good and evil people actually go out into Barton OOC, pull a Ludo Monster and ensnare people into joining our guild for their purposes.

I don't think you have to worry about it, because it is probably not happeneing.

Threads never work though. They all die. All Barton Town is is vampire/demon/other unoriginal stuff. I join more unique (but not neccessarily the 'best' ones I've come across) RPs there. In fact, I can suggest one for Pasty to join. I takes place in the future, though. I'm in it. Two people are near death and it is late into it. I don't know how long it will last, but hopefully people will realize the death issue and heal their characters so that it will live on.

Barton Town is my timefiller.

I've officially decided that I hate starting my own role-plays there...but I do it anyways. I don't mind actually RPing there, but LoSI makes very many RPs look inferior. Barton Town is quite the nuisance sometimes.
