I left a misfits tribute band to make a new one that isn't a tribute band? I'm in a band called Teenagers From Mars that ain't doing to well because none of us are really friends and I think that being in a band is about having fun and writing songs and stuff.

u should play the music u want to u don't have to play other peoples songs if it is no fun

dude, I play in a band called the Green Flamingoes with my two best friends. Just because you want a new band doesn't mean you can't do a misfits song. We play Night of the Living Dead and Astro Zombies every practice. just do what feels right. Besides I highly doubt the 'fits want every single band that wants to be like them a tribute band. They have enough of those as it is.

Yeah, bud. It's fine to have your own songs with a few covers. Tribute bands aren't fun at all, because everything is recycled. You can make a name for yourself and respect your idols at the same time.
