i seem to get overly frustrated when people break rules such as cutting in line, or staying in when hit playing warball, and just about any situation where the rule breaker benifits at the though minor loss of others around them

i was wondering if this happens with others here or if thats just a personal quirk

I think my name is cursed by several cyberfiends in various chats I haunt. But yes, I can't stand it when poeple break rule, especially intentionally! I'm very bitter about it - if I can be told "Don't do that!" in a very obvious and embarassing way when I'm forgetful or unaware of established customs, then 'normal' people won't be allowed to get away with ANYTHING while I'm around. =C

Dear me.... I HATE it when people break rules! Especially if I'm involved! gonk

I swear it, I'll sternly remind people when they cut me in line, actually, most of the time, I bump past them, telling them, "I was here first, back off" rude yes, but they were rude in the first place! scream

i usually try to block them off from cutting me, some short guy with a bad attitude was offended by my not letting him cut, as oddly comical it was, i technically threw him into the garbage cans after he swung at me. i say technically because he hut them when i did it, didnt actually stuff him into one

I have a tendency to follow the rules, though mostly in the way I understand them. Not only I've seen it's a tendency I follow due to my condition, but it's also because my parents also follow the rules strictly and exactly.

Though I sometimes like to just break the rules. For example, one of my favorite activities is entering the "Authorized personnel only" areas at a building. It's not like I have much to lose: I did it once, and the only thing I got was a security guard saying "Sir, you're not allowed in this place. I'm going to have to ask you to leave". I just left, and that was it.

I hate it when people cut in line. I waited patiently, they should too. I also get peeved at those who don't know what "express lane " means. Hey the sign is in Spanish and English, no excuses. But the worst was at a Christmas concert for the HS band, people kept talking and cells were ringing. The whole piont is to hear the band play, not your converstions.

Why do people break the rules? Even when the rules are painfuly clear? Have they been living in a cave?

Some people are so free-spirited that they cannot abide by rules, even if they have a good heart. While in competition or society at large rules are in place to protect people, human personalities are as varied as the colors of our hair, eyes, and skin. For example, i like it when people play by the rules, in games or in life, and i'll try to uphold them, but I won't even waste my time on the ones that don't make sense. But when people break the rules at the expense of others, even the silly rules, its unacceptable.

i hate it when people break rules.

But I hate rules.

I love to do things I'm not allowed/supposed to do.

I can do everything everyone else can't in my biased eyes.

Stupid I know but I can't stop myself.

I feel very uncomfortable when people break rules. I even feel guilty when rules haven't been explained clearly enough and I wonder if I may have done something wrong without knowing. confused

I get annoyed with people cutting in lines, but it's not a very big problem at our school. I get most annoyed when people use incorrect grammar/spelling, but I don't really say anything in either of those cases. I feel like I should add something else, but I'm out of stuff to say.

I have "radical honesty" issues. I can't lie online, at all. Little occasional things, but I always panic that somehow they're going to call me on it and I'm not going to be able to cover myself far enough that I'll end up in trouble or looking stupid. Most of the time I won't lie unless it's spontaneous, because I usually think about it too much and see all these terrible endings that have me in trouble.

What peeves me is people using their cellphones in class. What's so important that you can't pay attention like the rest of us? I so want to tell the teacher that they're using it, but don't want to look stupid, so I don't. I don't get texting, probably because I don't have a cellphone or even need one, and I'm glad. I feel guilty and embarrassed for other people when they do something wrong or stupid. Even thinking about doing something wrong or against the rules usually makes me feel guilty and upset, unless I can really deeply justify it.

I don't really like the rules, because many are stupid and made by society that is too scared of being sued to make sense, but I try to follow most of them.

Some rules and laws don't make sense or are just stupid in my eyes. Things like obvious warning notices. Let me take the McDonalds "Hot Coffee" case (Not related to the Rockstar "Hot Coffee" case). A woman buys a cup of coffee and tries to drink it like a normal cold drink. She burns her tongue and sues McDonalds because the cup did not warn her that the coffee was hot. Did she not see the steam or feel the heat of the cup? McDonalds do not serve iced coffee! Thanks to that case, the door is WIDE OPEN for idiots to sue for their own stupidity. Why can't manuals for dangerous machinery have something like the EULA that says "By operating this piece of machinery, you acknowledge that you know how to operate this machine safely and forgo any legal right to sue due to your own actions involving this machine."

If someone wants to break the rules in front of me, that's their decision. It is also my decision to try and convince them not to and also my decision to inform someone about their infraction.
