Hunter was crouched low following the tracks of a rabbit, his bow was out and he was stalking. He figured it would be easier to hunt in his original form but he needed practice with his bow. He had already missed enough times but he was getting closer and closer with each succession. he was up bind of the coney and was slow and low in the grass so as not to be seen. This was his element and he'd be darned if he'd lose to a bunny rabbit.

Moving quietly he rounded a bend of sorts and spotted his prey. Sitting in the flattened grass, the rabbit was fat from the miles of sweet grass surrounding it's home. It would be a good meal...

Forrest ruffled his wings, he felt nervous for some reason. He looked over his shoulder, he had the feeling something was close, whatever it was. His eyes looked about, trying to pinpoint exactly where this 'something' was.

Seeing nothing he sighed, it was just his imagination. It had to be. But what if it wasn't? He looked about again, nervous as ever. His ears went back and is fur prickled with anticipation. He looked slowly to the right and then slowly to the left. There was nothing. He shook his head.

"Nothing there." He whispered.

Hunter pulled back on his bow string, the slightest sound off sinue stretching was heard. Hunter froze as the coney's ears perked and itself froze and stared. After a few minutes it relaxed and Hunter took about to aiming at the fuzzy thing. A quick shot, to the back of the neck to insure an instant death. Careful, look down the shaft, aim higher than the target. When in range in one motion breath out and release.

The arrow arched the short distance and thunked into the rabbit, it had enough time to give off a shrill scream before falling over dead. Standing Hunter moved over to the felled rabbit and lifted it by the arrow shaft. He had actually managed to kill it! Jumping into the air with a exclamitory whoop, he set about cleaning the coney of it's guts and other nasty parts. This is so much easier with hands...

He froze when he heard the shrill scream. His whole body stood still with raised ears and a straight tail. His heart thumped in his chest, he gulped. Forrest breathed slowly, to calm himself. When he was ready to move on he did, huddling in the tall grass.

Any movement and he'd take off, into the skies to hide away from whatever caused for an animal to make a sound like that. He trembled, his whole body convulsed with shivers. He was deathly terrified of whoever did that. He moved through the grass slowly yet swiftly, his eyes moved all over.

He made as little noise as possible, he was about to step into a clearing when he stopped. Something was already there. He froze, his ears went back and he slowly walked backwards into the grass. Only his eyes were in view now and maybe bits of his face, two very wary green orbs.

What in the world was this thing? It looked human but not really. Forrest sniffed the air, it smelt like an Eoghan, almost. Maybe this being had an Eoghan of his own? Forrest continued to watch, heart racing.

Something was here, it was trying to be quiet but he heard something, maybe it was just the wind. Hunter was in the process of cutting up the meat to eat and had popped a bit into his mouth with his bloody hands, smearing a bit on his face. Kaho would protest to him doing as such but with this much dry grass around it would be dangerous to start a fire.

So it was a bit of a scary scene when he turned around to survey his surroundings to see him with blood on his face and a knife in his hand. His ears were great in this form but his eyes not so much, blast but he didn't want to go back to his other form yet. This was a training for him. Thus if he was training he would have to deal with this in this form. Crouching low to the ground he scanned the tall grass, willing his eyes to be sharp. His ears twitched as he sought any sound.

There in the grass behind him to the slight right, grass moving too low for the wind. Turning he caught sight of a flash of brightly colored fur. An eoghan? What was it. It could be one of those dragon things or a small pet lost in the grass...

Wiping an arm across his face, and hopelessly smearing the blood, he lowered the knife.

"Oi, don't sneak up like that. You could get hurt that way. And if your here to fight then get on wit it already, I'd like to get on with my meal," Hunter called out.

He breathed heavily when he saw the man turn towards him. Blood was on his face but Forrest didn't care about that. No, he was busy staring at that knife which was very sharp. He gulped and backed up, crunching on some rather dry grass.

He tensed. The man came closer and closer and Forrest's mind went blank. He should fly away, he knew that but his body could not move. When he heard the man speak, however, Forrest breathed a sigh of relief. This man seemed alright, he did not wish to harm him, only to eat his meal.

Forrest stepped out into the clearing, his eyes still wary of the man but since that knife was lowered, he felt that he should show himself. He watched the man, his head tilted to the side.

Hunter looked at the multi-colored striped Eoghan. Never seen him before... "Look this ain't no show, if your hungrey then come get some but I don't know how much a fat rabbit can be divided," Said Hunter going back to his meal. "Name's Hunter. So what's your deal? You lost or something?"

Happens a lot, heck it happened to him in the woods, Eoghans get lost when they're where they've never been before. Stabbing a peice of meat with his knife he brought it to his mouth and chewed it a bit messily. Damn still getting used to this mouth... The wind shifted a bite and brought the smell of more animals to his senses. If the Eoghan decided to join him it would mean more chances for practice. Maybe not such a bad thing.

He tilted his head, well the human seemed nice enough. Forrest walked over there and sat near him, not too close for he was still wary of this man. He eyed the dead rabbit, he liked meat like any other Eoghan did but Forrest always found the rabbits to be a pleasant sort and seeing one dead before him...it churned his stomach.

He looked away from the rabbit, a rabbit whom he may of thought of as good and perhaps a friend when he was younger. He eyed the grass, waiting for the moment of quesiness to subside. "No need to share your meal. My name is Forrest." The colourful Eoghan turned quickly to smile in a friendly way at the human.

"Lost? Well it is true that I have been to these parts before but I am not lost yet. I came here because I was bored and looking for something to occupy my time." He nodded and smiled again at Hunter.
