Why is it that every promo (those little snips of next week's episode at the end of each episode) hints at Booth and Bones finally having this grand love confession with each other, but there's never is any confession? There's hardly been any sexual tension for the last couple of episodes! And if there was, it only lasted like, one scene.
Even in the Valentine's episode - the episode where you most expected to fulfill your Sexual Tension Quota (let's call it the STQ just for the excuse of having an acronym for something) for the week - they hardly hinted at anything.
I mean, it's nice that they're not turning this show into an all-out sex-a-thon like Grey's Anatomy or something, but if you're going to tease us with phrases like "Which one will she choose?" then flash pictures of Sully (Sulli?) and Booth like she's actually going to 'fess up being in love with her partner, you should give us a little more than an awkward glance or two!

Yeah, this came up in discussion between myself and my Bones viewing group a while ago. But hey, even if they are misleading they keep us watching. And since Bones is definately up for a third season, I'm doubting our STQ will be fulfilled anytime soon.

Haha. They love to make everything seem so dramatic so you'll watch.
But, if you're already a huge fan of the show, wouldn't you watch it anyways?
I mean, would some random person, who's never seen Bones before, see the commercial and be like "OH MY GOD, I REALLY WANT TO SEE IF THIS CHICK WILL PICK ONE OF THE DUDES. ALTHOUGH I HAVE NO IDEA WHO THEY ARE, OR WHAT THE SHOW'S ABOUT, THEY SEEM TO HAVE A LOVE-TRIANGLE! ONWARD TO WATCH!"

True, I'd watch the show either way, but I just don't like expecting some nice undertones and not getting any.
I suppose the easiest way to deal with this is just to assume that the promos lie and watch the show with no expectations.
