Pokemon must be adopted before they can be trained/leveled/battled/RPed and what have you.
PKMN Captures:
You MUST own a pokeball before you post (in which the first to QUOTE the wild pokemon posted by a crew member AND ONLY BY A CREW MEMBER) will have the chance - and mind you CHANCE - of capturing it. The list below shows the chances by pokeball type of capture. For instance, if you throw a pokeball at a Lv 20 pokemon, you roll a four sided dice (is that singular or plural? XD) once to get a 1, 2, 3, or 4. Since it's Lv 20, you have a 50% chance of capture. That means if you roll a 1 or 2, you get it, and if you roll a 3 or 4, you miss. In other words, throw higher level pokeballs so you have a greater change to make your catch!
100% Yes=1,2,3,4 No=none
75% Yes=1,2,3 No=4
50% Yes=1,2 No=3,4
25% Yes=1 No=2,3,4
Legendaries will be posted with "Legendary" in their name when posted.
Legendaries w/ greatballs Yes=3,6,9 No=1,2,4,5,7,8,10
Legendaries w/ ultraballs Yes=1,3,5,7,9 No=2,4,6,8,10

Pokeball: Lv2-8 (100%); Lv9-20 (75%); Lv21-40 (50%); Lv41-55 (25%); Legendaries (0%)
Greatball: Lv2-15 (100%); Lv16-30 (75%); Lv31-50 (50%); Lv 51-70 (25%); Lv 71+ (0%); Legend. (25%)
Ultraball: Lv2-30 (100%); Lv 31-60 (75%); Lv61-80 (50%); 80+ (25%); Legend. (50%)
PKMN Adoption:
Pokemon will primarily be available for adoption. The first few will be free, as will all starters (trainer's first pokemon). There will be a sticky in this forum for the adoption center.
PKMN Trades:
Trades will also be available. However, you MUST PM either myself, Tanya_the_elf, or my Vice Captain once I appoint one (the guy there now is a temp. fix and doesn't really have anything to do with the guild now) abotu the trade, who was switches with who ect. Naturally, I'll have a list of the pokemon under control of each trainer. You can only carry six at a time, but I'll keep all yours listed here.
