This is an open RP for all inhabitants and visitors to Starfields. Please remember that an RP in here is open to all, so if you want a private RP please set one up with 'Private RP' somewhere in the title. This is just an RP spot for people who want to post a bit or who want to casually join in a town RP so for more in depth RPs in Starfields it's suggested you start your own thread to RP in. :3
For more information on Starfields see 'Lemlet Geography' in the main Lemlets forum.

Gale wandered around the city casually. Starfields was breathtaking- far more oriental and ornate than the sturdy, cheerful northern towns he was used to. In the North, 'fancy' was a sweater with more than three colours on it, but here even the buildings were fancy. He looked around at the sights- temples, fountains, everything was fascinating. And safe. Much more safe than finally getting around to visiting the Knight of Fire. But there was no excuse for him not to now the rumors were Kaen was back. He had to keep up good relations with the others.
If only Kaen wasn't so frightening!

Kaen had been tending to the fires around his humble abode - which was anything but humble - before a gentle, frightened knocked arose on his door. He charred a few of the still unburnt leaves on his floor, as he sighed. Somebody, somebody frightened of him, had come to visit, or had news. It might just be the newspaper boy, no, it was much too late in the day for such a thing. Kaen pounded across the floor, his eyes slightly glimmering with a hate for being interrupted. It wasn't that he really liked cleaning and didn't want to be interrupted, but rather, that once he started cleaning, he liked to finish it as quick as possible. When Kaen opened the door, he saw a frightened lemlet from the main town nearby, Starfields. The lemlet quivered, seeing the fire spurting around the house inside, and off of Kaen himself. "Uhh.. uhh. Mis... Mister Flamebright?" the lemlet stuttered. Kaen nodded, his unamused expression not changing. "The the people... er... GALE'S HERE," the lemlet lept the point before running off, on the verge of fearful tears. 'Gale's here, ai? That brother of mine has come for a visit I suppose...' Kaen mused; it had to happen every so often. Kaen settled up to go, and walked down through the countryside towards Starfields. Where would his brother be - and what was so important that his brother would even dare visit?

((The knights aren't related except by profession. :3 Each comes from a different family, unless some of them have a shared relative at one point. X3))
Gale's fur bristled. A really firey presence that before had been about the distance of the Knight of Fire's castle was getting closer. Gale's icy side already felt a little weak. Heading towards a fountain to feel better, Gale sat down on the edge. If Kaen was looking for him, he would find him. He just hoped that the other knight was in a good mood as he aimlessly dipped his tail in the fountain, causing tiny glaciers of frozen water to drift within it. Nearby a lemlet shivered and Gale caught himself, tuning out power as much as possible. It had always been an unspoken rule of his to try to use his ice powers as little as possible in the realm of a different knight.

((Err. Then I meant to put... Brother-in-knighthood -cough-))
The closer Kaen got to Starfields, the more he could feel the chilling, yet very docile seeming presence of Gale, his brother-in-knighthood. Kaen meandered around the seemingly empty city - it wouldn't be hard to find Gale with all the other lemlets in hiding. Kaen finally latched onto a strong presence in a similar manner to the way a hunting dog finds its prey's scent. Occasionally the earthen debris would erupt into flames, if it came within Kaen's radiant heat. Kaen turned out of the alleyway, now facing one of the fast fountains decorating the interior of Starfields. Along the edge sat the Knight of Ice - Gale.

Gale looked up at Kaen and said "Good day, brother." in a careful voice. "It has been a while since we last met." Kaen still frightened him, he realized, even after all those years, Gale's nervousness was apparent around the stronger knight. "Since you left, many things have happened, including the awakening of the Knight of Darkness." continued the Ice Knight. "He has been wreaking havoc around the West especially." Gale got up. "But this is not a business visit. I wished to become reaccquainted with you and perhaps hear of your travels."

Kaen scoffed at the proper Gale, who was so obviously trying to be cautious around Kaen - as did almost everyone. "The Dark Knight, ai? About time we had some trouble stirred up. These parts are getting boring." Kaen wore a smirk on this face which washed away when Gale mentioned his visit was not about business. "You mean to tell me you pulled me out of my castle and very, very, VERY important work for a little CHAT?" His voice rose steadly into a yell. Kaen's flames flared, becoming a mountainous roaring fire. "And to hear of my travels?" Kaen said in a mocking tone. "Hear of my travels? To where oh dear Brother? I've been stuck in this CASTLE." As scary as Kaen might be at the moment - many of the towns citizen's knew it was not the peak of his anger. They were already fleeing from their hiding spots - wanting to get out of town before a fire erupted and burnt anything substantial down.

Scared though Gale was, he stood his ground. This was partly because he was too terrified to move properly, and also because he figured that he ought to keep some dignity. He looked at Kaen. "I'm sorry." he said. "I didn't know you were busy. I merely came because I rather thought you were expecting me to. After all, after I heard you'd returned, it would be rather rude if I ignored you, wouldn't it?" You had to credit Gale, his voice had barely a tremor. "And I can't imagine the troubles you must be having in the East if you have such important work. Perhaps you need some help?" Gale imagined anything the Fire Knight couldn't clear up easily had to be a catastrophe for the East.
