Britney and a Purple Dress
Dedicated Man In A Purple Dress to Britney in Long Beach. I said, 'Let's not be too quick to judge'. Roger said 'Britney? Britney who?' Like, Roger! Pullease...... read the paper.
Just heard she's gone back into rehab. Pray for the babe. This is a tough business when you have a down period - she sometimes has over one hundred cars following her, every one with a camera geek in it.
Tonight's show? My feet hurt. I gashed my hand. My fingertips hurt (my guitar strings felt too heavy). I'm happy. I must like pain.

Rough elbows?
Now let's talk about REAL medical s**t.
Do you have rough skin on your elbows? Your knees? Your hands? Your thing?
Rachel went to a pharmacist in New York to get me some stuff because my elbows were really rough, and starting to feel as though I had eczema starting, the skin was cracking and bleeding. To be honest I've had it for years and only took notice now because it started to really hurt and was keeping me awake.
She was given AMLACTIN and passed it to me with the pharmacist's promise it would work. Yeah! (I sneered cynically) Sure it will work!

After a week of quite careless and irregular use my elbows are now smooth and pink - it's so effective this stuff, it's CREEPY! You know how we never expect these creams and things to really do anything? This stuff is phenomenal.
It claims to "Moisturize and soften rough, dry skin."
It does it. This is the dry skin equivalent to the aspirin for a headache in your elbow. Or something.

Return to Tampa - Return to London
I'm relaxing in the thumping of the Spring Break in Miami. Windy, rainy, but nobody cares. The rescheduled Tampa show is tomorrow, and I intend to throw sparks. Roger seems back closer to his usual self. It must be heaven for him.
For those of you who may feel we should have reschedule our cancelled shows in Mexico and San Antonio I'm afraid this is not possible as we have a show in London next weekend. Then a European tour. I hope everyone who bought tickets is properly compensated. If not contact www.thewhotour.com and let us know what's happening.
There has been talk of an extension of the current tour in the USA through August. Under the present uncertain circumstances I have decided it might be better to abandon this plan, and get the European shows behind us first. I'm sorry to have raised the hopes of some fans in Vegas and the Northeast, but all good things must come to an end. The US tour is now two shows away from the end. Sad, but I'm looking forward to a proper rest in April without the stress of worrying about Roger's uncertain health.
As I mentioned above, the Who do have an important show as soon as we get home, at the Royal Albert Hall to close the week of events to raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust. This is a wonderful way for us to return home, we are sure of a welcome, and it is our favourite cause.

Glad to hear Roger's doing a bit better
