While I don't actually support this pairing, it's my favorite. About a year and a half ago, I was thinking about how everyone seemed to really hate Paulina, and how there were only three fanfics on FF.net about her, and all three were hate fics (the one that really stands out in my mind involved Danny overshadowing Paulina and making her slit her wrists). I always loved Paulina from the first time I saw her in Parental Bonding, and I could not and still cannot understand why so many can't see the wonderful character she is. Then, I got to thinking about Danny and Paulina as a couple, and it accelerated from there. I think they are actually more compatible than Danny and Sam now.
I'm happy this pairing has suddenly picked up. It went from having almost no support to having, well, not a lot, but much more within the last nine months or so. There are many more fanfics about her, and many if not most put her in a good light.
Alright, so what are your thoughts on this pairing? Hate it? Don't care? Love it? Wondering how Danny could ever fall for someone like her?

Hatefics are idiotic. If they don't like Paulina they can just write about someone they do like. I've never hated Paulina, she's an interesting character and it's not like no one changes through their teenage years. ^^ I like future fics that have her in them, and seeing how she's different and why. It's fascinating.
I don't think Danny and Sam have much chemistry, myself. Them together seems a bit bland to me. I think Danny and Paulina would have a much more interesting story to how they get together and how their relationship progresses. So, all in all I like it. 3nodding

I find some hate fics amusing, actually. The one where Danny made Paulina kill herself kind of annoyed me at first, but when I think about it now, I can't help but laugh.
There are a couple of okay Danny/Paulina fics. I don't think any of them are actually worth reading unless you like the pairing. If you go to FF.net and search the DP category by character, you'll find them.
I hope Mr. Hartman will surprise us with something interesting in the last episode instead of just giving the majority of fans what they want. My mind is wrapped around "Paulina Fenton."

~It really depends on your mood while reading them, I guess. ^^ I've found some kind of funny, but it's always in a stupid way. That one sounds just... strange. Like, they're making Danny a murderer. x.O
Meh, I like all pairings. ^^ They wouldn't have to be awesome. I'll be sure to look at some point in the eventual future. :is lazy: xd
Oh, please, please, please let him not do what we're all thinking he will. >.< I am a firm advocate of no pairings being canonized! Something clever would roxxor, though. ^^

I love Danny/Paulina, Danny/Sam and Danny/Valerie. I even like Danny/Star and Danny/Ember as well.
I'm actually writing a Danny/Paulina fic over on ff.net, which is being met with mixed feelings. What I find annoying though, is that it got 38 reviews and 695 hits, which shows people are reading it but won't admit that they read it. stare

WingsofMorphius What I find annoying though, is that it got 38 reviews and 695 hits, which shows people are reading it but won't admit that they read it. That doesn't mean they won't admit to reading it. It could just be people going back to it more than once. Some people just click on a story but don't actually read it. Some people are lazy and don't want to take the time to review. Then, there are the people who just don't review. I like all those pairings as well, though Star's a a bit two-dimensional for me to decide if she and Danny would make a good couple. I've seen ShallowSapphire on DA, but I guess I'm just not much for clubs. I'm surprised I participate in this guild. To Astera_Renata: The author didn't just make him a murderer. She (I think it was a she) made him a psychopath. He thoroughly enjoyed ruining Paulina's life. I was cringing the whole time, but I couldn't stop reading it. Man, I wish it was still on FF.net, because I feel like reading it again. Mr. Hartman seems to be the type that likes to please his fans, though. Oh, well. It's still an awesome show, and fanfiction can satisfy everything else.

Sam can be just as mean as anyone else, we just get to know her better and so are more likely to take her side on stuff. 3nodding
