For me its his power even tho he got defeated like 1 1/2 times he'll kick the s**t out of almost anyone (I wonder how he'd do against Kakashi?)

I've said it before and I'll say it a thousand times more: Gaara is the absolute paragon of angst. He is a beautiful character (in more ways than one) with a tragic past, a demon inside of him, and he's totally and completely psychotic. PERFECT!!!

I'll get flamed for this...but really I'm more of a Temari fan...but I like Gaara too. I like that he changed from a SUPEr evil guy who wanted to kill EVERYONE to someone who wanted to help everyone he could. It's sweet...I think so anyway...

He has that alluring, mysterious past that everyone wants to learn more about. Even if we do know the main facts about it, you can't help, but want to know more.
