Real Name: Thor
Nicknames: Odinson

Strength: Thor, like all members of his race, is superhumanly strong. However, as the son of Odin and the Earth spirit, Gaea, Thor's strength is considerably greater than that of the vast majority of his race. He possesses vast superhuman strength enabling him to lift well in excess of 100 tons. The upper limits of his strength are unknown. With the vast magical power of the Odinforce, Thor was able to even dent Captain America’s shield with Mjolnir, the only person in the Marvel Universe to have done considerable damage to it.

Speed: Thor is capable of running and moving at speeds much greater than even the finest human athlete. Via Mjolnir, he can fly at lightspeed.

Durability/Endurance: Thor's skin, muscle, and bone tissues have 3 times the density of the same tissue in the body of a human being, contributing somewhat to his superhuman strength and weight. Thor is virtually indestructible. Due to his omnipotent birth right, Thor's efficient muscular physique produces almost no toxins that result in fatigue granting him near endless stamina. As a god Thor is immune to all mortal/terrestrial diseases. Thor is capable of withstanding tremendous impact forces, high caliber bullets, exposure to temperature and pressure extremes, and powerful energy blasts without sustaining injury. He is even capable of surviving in the vacuum of space unaided for a limited period of time. Thor also has electrical immunity having everything to do with the fact that he is the deity of thunder and lightning.

Regenerative Healing Factor: Despite his high resistance to injury, it is possible to injure Thor. If injured, his body is capable of quickly repairing damaged tissue with much greater speed and efficiency than the body of a human being, or even most other Asgardians. However, Thor's healing powers are sufficient to allow him to regenerate severed limbs or missing organs.

Intellect: Thor's taken a few mortal guises over the years since, his former exile from Asgard by his father Odin. For the most part having his persona planted into guises of mortal men creating a dual persona complex. However, in one case, as Sigurd Jarlson to be specific, Thor took the "Superman" approach so-to-speak, not actually becoming mortal but rather simply dressing as one. In the case of the former, however, Thor has taken on the identities of Donald Blake and Jake Olson both an accomplished surgeon and paremedic respecitively, thus Thor has extensive medical knowledge. Also, during Ragnarok Thor acquired the knowledge and use of the Runes granting him a variety of magical spells. Naturally, Thor has extensive knowledge of his people, the Asgard gods.

Fighting Skill: Thor, being an Aesir god, is well versed in the art-of-war, with his specialties being hand-to-hand combat, swordsmanship, and hammer throwing.

Known Powers: Thor possesses a number of superhuman attributes common among the Asgardian gods. However, some are considerably more developed than those of the vast majority of his race. Thor, like all other Asgardians, isn't immortal in the same sense some other god pantheons. All Asgardians have to consume Golden apples of Goddess Iddun for eternal youthfulness. Thor ages, but at a considerably slower pace than human beings. On earth however he doesnt need those apples for youthfulness. Thor is exactly as his name says he is, Thor, the son of Odin and the Norse deity of thunder, lightning and agriculture.

Weather Control: Thor has unlimited storm associated weather control being able to manipulate thunder, lightning, rain, and wind. He can generate electrical storms complete with thunder, lightning, hurricane-force winds, tornadoes and torrential rains. Conversely, Thor can just as easily nullify these conditions should they already exist at the present time. To illustrate the extent of this control, Thor's power of weather can be compared to Storm's, a mutant imbued with weather controlling powers. Although very powerful, Storm can only manipulate existing weather conditions to achieve the desired effect. Creating a thunderstorm in a desert would take much longer than normal. Thor, on the other hand, creates weather conditions as a result of his godhood. Creating a thunderstorm in a desert requires no more effort than normal. While Storm can manipulate weather, Thor can just as easily undo her manipulations with little effort. In Marvel vs. DC, Thor defeated Captain Marvel by simply withholding the lightning that allowed him to transform from Billy Batson into the superhero. Although he usually currents this power through Mjolnir, he can generate any of these effects himself.

Flight: Thor is capable of hurling Mjolnir with great force and, by holding onto the leather thong, is capable of flying through the air at tremendous speeds. While in an Earth-like atmosphere, Thor generally flies at roughly the Speed of Sound, roughly 770 miles per hour. However, he is capable of achieving faster than light speeds. Like Storm, he can also manipulate wind currents to fly in another fashion.

Odinforce: Finally, as the ruler of the Asgard gods, Thor has the Odinforce granting him the sum total of the powers of his father, Odin, plus those of his brothers Vili and Ve. The Odinforce allows Thor to tap into a nearly infinite supply of cosmic and mystical energies and enhanced all of his abilities. In this form, Thor is capable of manipulating vast amounts of energy for a variety of purposes including temporary augmentation of physical attributes, energy projection, matter manipulation and interdimensional teleportation. With this power he was able to simply teleport Asgard over the skies of New York City.

Weapons: Thor wields Mjolnir, a hammer forged from uru metal. Mjolnir is virtually unbreakable, and allows Thor to command the powers of the storm, causing rain, thunder and lightning. Thor can channel the storm’s fury into devastating blasts of energy that can destroy even secondary Adamantium. He can also channel his godly energies through Mjolnir into blasts so powerful that they can slay even immortals. Mjolnir can absorb other energies into itself, which Thor can then release. Other offensive capabilities include creating vortices; emitting mystical blasts of energy; controlling electro-magnetism; molecular manipulation and generating the Geo-Blast, Anti-Force, and God Blast. Defensively Mjolnir can also be used to block attacks, absorb and redirect energy and by being spun in an arc repel all attacks, be they physical or energy-based. Mjolnir can detect illusions - Thor once commanded the hammer to strike the meta-physical villain Mephisto, who was hiding amongst false images of himself. A former religious relic, Mjolnir is lethal to undead. Thor once threw Mjolnir at a vampire, with contact causing the vampire to burst into flame and then crumble to dust. Mjolnir can project images, as Thor shows a glimpse of Asgard to a curious Iron Man. Mjolnir can drain the life force from an opponent. Thor uses this ability on the supervillain The Presence, who is forced to surrender before being reduced to a lifeless husk. Mjolnir obeys Thor’s commands as though it were alive, and if Thor’s will is strong enough, the hammer can pass through nearly any barrier to reach him should he so desire. Using this command over Mjolnir’s flight path, Thor is able to use the hammer to fly, achieving escape velocities. Mjolnir can also transform Thor into his civilian guises. When Thor is a civilian, the hammer most often becomes an old wooden cane. While employing a mortal guise, Thor will transform back into his mortal form should he be separated from Mjolnir for more than 60 seconds. By spinning Mjolnir in a circle, Thor can open portals to other dimensions. Formerly, it also allowed him to travel in time, but Immortus removed this power. Enchantments surrounding Mjolnir prevent it from being wielded by anyone save those who have been found worthy. Thus far, this includes Thor, Odin, Tiwaz, Thunderstrike, Red Norvell, Beta Ray Bill, The Hulk, and Captain America. To anyone else, Mjolnir cannot be lifted from the ground nor wrested from Thor’s grip.
