That's right! You've probably heard of the new TV Series of Stargate!
It'll use the 9th chevron, and is designed to be a stand-alone to the other series. Basically, we don't need to see SG-1 or Atlantis to know the story (but it would still be awesome!)
Yay! Anyone else as excited as I am?

Hey thanks for the heads up. I will watch the 3rd series and see if I like them and make my decision then.
I guess its confirmed that there will be 2 movies out this fall, YAY ^_^

Rumor running about at the convention was that it was going to be the "daniel jackson" show. Mind you that is just Rumor.
The Movies are "Arc of truth." And "Continuum" I'm not going to go inot too much detail since there is not spoiler alert on this thread.

How much do you want to bet the ninth chevron enables travel to another Universe?
If that's what this is, another Universe, same Earth, different enemies, then that's a really sucky title.

That's what I would think as well, but then again, that's what the Quantum Mirror was for. And just the amount of energy to be used to transport trans-universe would be more than astronomical. It'd be insanely ginormous. I would just want to know how it works.

hmm, yeah that's an interesting idea. It could also refer to the team from earth having the ability to travel to far more distant places in our own universe...or perhaps anywhere in our universe. on a side note, I sure have a bad memory... I just noticed (again, since I posted in this back in march) this thread here today after I replied to a couple other threads with basically the same info that the original poster included in the first post of this thread. *shakes head at self* ninja
