This is a private RP for Argo, Morgan, Melody, Kantor and Melody and Kantor's children.
The sun shown down upon the earth warming all it touched the birds and small insects were dancing over grass that was slowly beggining to lose the brown of winter as tender shoots poked their way up through dried foliage.
The hum of insects had come back to the wood and Morgan twitched his trail to rid himself of one buzzing nusiance as he looked down the slow slope into the vally below. He had heard something and thought it might be someone approching. He stood enjoying the soft breeze as he watied to see if anyone would come into view.

Argo slowly trotted up the hillside. She saw her mate standing on the top and whickered a low greeting to him. Each day she fell in love with him anew it seemed to her.
"Bright the day, my love," she said as she approached. "How was your walk this morning?" She nuzzled him softly on his white neck as she spoke.

Morgan returned the sandy colored mare's greeting with one of his own. Turning his head he rubbed his cheek against his mate's soft muzzle. "It was uneventful thankfully. And since it is lovely out it was rather relaxing too. Though it would have been my enjoyable if you had been there."
Stepping to the side so he could look at her directly Morgan"The only significant problem was that the ground is still a bit soft and so we shall have to watch for anyone getting themselves mired in the muck. But with the sun's help that difficulty should resolve itself in fairly quick order. "

"My rounds were quiet as well. It is good that there hasn't been any trouble though!" Her coat shuddered a little at the memory of the last attacks that had come across the borderlands.
"Hopefully we will have a couple of nice days before the next round of spring rains. I hate the thought of all that mud, though the foals sure did seem to enjoy it when they were young! Speaking of which, have you seen Solan lately?"

Morgan made a face at the menion of his son that was some where between amusment and exasperation. "The last I saw he was training over on the far side of the clearing near the tree line."
Snorting he shook his white mane out of his eyes. "Or at least that is what he refered to it as." The stallion grinned chuckling softly. "To me it appeared that he was trying to pull his chakram out of yet another helpless tree. But at least he has kept his training to the same few trees after you had that little chat with him about maming the forest life. So perhaps there is hope for the boy yet."

The golden mare joined her mate in laughter. "As long as he doesn't try to give anyone a haircut I think we will be fine. I don't think that Kantor has forgiven him for that yet!"
The memory of her other son's unfortunate mane incident sent her into another peal of laughter.
"Ohh..ohh!" She tried to regain her composure. "I do hope that Kantor and Melody come back by soon. I swear, that boy inherited the wanderlust of both of us. He always has such wonderful stories, but I do miss him while he explores."

"I'm sure they will settle down eventually." Morgan replied with a quick nuzzle for his mate.
"We did, after all." Flicking his ears he listened to for any unusual sounds as he replied. "If I had been told years ago that I was going to find someone and make a home for myself I would have never believed it, and yet, here we are. Life can take some surprising turns sometimes, but then It would be boring if you always knew what was going to happen next."'
Chuckling again Morgan ducked his head. "None of us are very good at dealing with boredom, I'm afraid. In fact the children seem to have the habit of seeking out trouble. They come by it honestly enough considering that we are their parents, but I'm glad Kantor has Melody at his side to help keep him from getting in over his head."
"In fact I've worried a lot less about Kantor since he got together with Melody despite the sometimes frightening stories of their adventures. Two are much more able to over come adversity than one." The stallion smiled into the eyes of his greatest friend and shieldmate. "It's a comfort to know he has found someone he can rely on."

"She does seem to have a calming influence on him," Argo agreed. "I wonder if that annoying little bug is still with them? I think he said something about squashing her if she didn't stop following them everywhere!"
No sooner had the words left her mouth than a wild giggling was heard. A small bug equus zoomed in, her violet wings shinging in the sunlight. "Hello again Argo-ma'am & Morgan-sir!" the bug's high pitched voice carried through the morning's peace. "The others are behind me because I am sooo much faster than they are and boy are you guys in for a surprise but I am not gonna tell you nope!"

"Oh dear," Morgan gave his mate a look of mock consern amusment warming his blue eyes. "That's not worrying at all."
Chuckling he gave the little bug equu a long look as if that would reveal her secret. "You've got me wondering what he's gotten up to this time. However since you won't tell us I suppose we shall just have to contain our curiosity a little longer while Kantor meanders his way over."

And off in the distance.....
Melody gave a little sigh of exasperation after trying to fret Myraid out of the bushes, with no luck at all. Muttering faintly,"He just...keeps wandering off....the smallest little speck." But it was the flash of white caught out of the corner of her eye that caused her the most panic. "Zoranos!" Another sigh...they were just...such a handful.
After that little pixie bug of an equus was what Zoranos was after,"Come back here! not so fast!" The little foal barreling after the buggie as fast as his little feet could carry him. though the breaks came upon instantly after rounding about a tree...he'd found the bug...but so two had he found two rather...big equus! Eyes going all so wide,"Whoa!!" And then began the back pedalling! Run away, run away!!

Morgan looked down at the little one in surprise. He wasn't expecting to see a foal out here on his own. Going down on one knee to be more on the colt's level he called out. "Well hello there, and who might you be?"
It was then that he noticed the sun emblem on the youngling's flank and all cohearent thought promptly left his head. "Could this foal possibly be.....no it couldn't," The tall white stallion shook his head in denyal. After all Kantor was so wild and free....then again Morgan had been that way once too and he had started a family. So it was enterly possible that his son had had foals of his own.
His mind gibbered at him half of it in rising delight at the thought that he might be a grandfather and the other half in terror at the very same idea. "Never mind," He thought as he took control of himself once more. "I'll probably find out one way or another very soon.
Keeping his expression gentle and inviting he watched the young foal to see if he would continue to try and run away.

Zoranos continues to back peddle in shock at having run headlong into the older pair of equus. A bit of a squeak spilling forth when Morgan actually went to one knee. "Run! Buggie run!!!" Even if the buggie would be flying not running, but that is rather a technicality that isn't quite in the young foal's mind. Finally spinning about and fleeing back through the underbrush he'd come darting out through.
...in due time running smack into his mother..gasping,"Big!! Were going to eat me! " Breathe, tremble, breathe...breathe..." Ate buggie...Poor buggie. Be quiet now though." Gasp!
Melody blinked a bit as Zoranos came peeling back towards here, glancing down as he about smacked into her. A motherly little nuzzle given to him,"I'm sure it'll be fine. I'll keep you safe." Another nuzzle or two given to settle the little one. "Now where has your father wandered off to, we will end up being late," not that they had any set time really. But...it sounded good.

At that moment Kantor came around the brushy hill, a rather damp filly at his side. "There you are!" he called out to the rest of his family. "Sorry for the delay, but someone decided to go for a swim!" He gave his daughter a stern look.
"But Papa! Therewasomeoneinthewater! An' he smiled at me an' I wanna'd to go say hello" The pink filly took a deep breath after her runabout statement. "Where are we goin'?" she asked again, looking up at him with innocent eyes. It was a statement they had heard many many times on this journey.
"We are going to see your grandparents, remember? And it doesn't matter if you saw someone in the water - you are not to go swimming without one of us!" There was a note of finality that Dorianna knew meant she better toe the line. "It looks like your brother has had a bit of an adventure as well."
**** Argo was stunned at the sight of the foal. That marking... it had to be... it couldn't be! She paced up to Morgan as he stood up. "Did you see what I saw, dearheart? That colt had the sun-in-glory on his flank! You don't think..." she let the sentence wind down.

Morgan was brought up short by his mates question and his relaxed attitude was suddenly replaced by startlement and incredulity. "I wasn't really paying attention that closely..."The large white stallion admitted softly his eyes wide with the possibilities."But now that you mention it, I think you may be right. But it couldn't be" He said shaking his great head in denial,"....could it?"
Taking a deep breath he sighed excepting the invevitable, if Argo thought it was so then it very probably was. "Why do I feel old all of a sudden." He asked his mate looking back in the direction the foal had run off to. "I suppose, life goes on and children grow up. But it seems only yesterday we were watching them take their first steps and playing with them in the feilds." Morgan's voice trailed off as he smiled at the memories his thoughts had provoked.

The golden mare laughed as she nuzzled her mate softly. "I feel older as well, but that isn't to say that I am slowing down any! I do miss having little ones about though. Part of me dearly hopes it is true just to have the joy of foals around again!"
She stepped a few paces in the direction the colt had gone then turned to look back at Morgan. "What do you say we go and find out the answer for ourselves?"
