Take a look at it, a very cool project. I have a tv tuner now and I just use TVtime, but I wouldn't mind getting it, it uses a lot of different projects to make one killer media center. I love the whole bluetooth stuff seeing as I have it on my desktop and my cell.
I tried to get it working on my current install of Ubuntu 6.10 but, its not working something is mucked up oh well I plan on getting 7.4 running soon so I will try again then.
I really love the fact its more about the media then showing off the fact its Linux... [pointing out that windows media center is all about showing off the stupid Microsoft "eye candy..."]
No DMR silliness or anything it allows you to do net booting of the mce player so other pc's could just be rebooted in to it an not have anything install, can you say sweet? I hear you don't need a lot of gear to make a lot out of it. I mean a tv tuner and a bluetooth key, what more do you really need ? Well a 42 inch LCD TV would be nice wink

Would it be possible to getg a link? I've heard of this type of project before on Ubuntu and Kbuntu as well as a slack port, but an actual media center one? That'd be pretty cool.

From what I see its ubuntu 6.10 only for now...
Its like mythtv on crack, speed, and lsd all at the same time. Yet its set up to be a lot easier then myth and do a lot more, plus its based off its source lol...
There sever is totally fubar at the moment. The packages needed come to about 600 megs on top of what come stock with ubuntu 6.10. So right now its sorta hard to get a download there are mirrors going yup for it all the time check out the Linux/UNIX digg for more info smile
