I can accept all religions and i think its up to them to choose their path, but why do people have to be so judgmental? You see a christan and say, "oh look at that sweet religious women. She must love god." Then you look at someone like me and say, "Look at that demon child. Shes into witchcraft. She must be going to hell." stare It gets me mad!

Both of those are stated from a Christian perspective which is obviously the root of the problem. While it does not pertain to all Christians, many have this odd idea of how obviously "fake" every religion but Christianity is. Ask them why they believe in Christianity and ironically they answer that it's obviously true. Of course what they use to defend the "obvious" tends to be invalid circular logic, not so much that I care whether or not it's true, more that I hope they see the utter inability to prove that it is true and thus it is a matter of faith no different from the other Semitic or the Dharmic or the whatever religions. It's likely the natural result of believing in monotheism.
Not that I really give two shits what the average Christian thinks anyways.

We've moved beyond the time of the Inquisition so I don't think it really matters what Christians (or anyone, for that matter) have to say.
You know who you are and what you believe in; why is it important for anyone else to know?

You both are right! Its just that if all religions got along things would be a lot better. i know people who have all kinds of religions and its up to them to think what they want. I dont go around judging people by their religion. And the christans are the ones who judge people the most. Including my mom, who happens to be christan. So shes always saying that its wrong and is evil. But i dont care what she says any more. Im going to bevile in what i want to belive in!

More like the trials of being a non Christian in a Christian world. They don't need magick to condemn you, they simply need to know you don't suck Jesus c**k.

To anyone of any religious values if this upsets you I am sorry..however. Christians, normally get upset because they believe their god to be all good and holy and the only god out there. They want to follow him while have their own backgrounds. Catholics, well they have more of a spiritual background but they still believe in God, Jesus, and the holy spirit, along with other spirits. As far as that since my mother use to be in those religions that is what I've seen. When I became a witch I had to sit down and make her see what it was I was doing, or else...well..you can see how that would have went. What does surprise me is that this subject is just coming up now. But I guess in time you'll come to terms with the stupid looks, and comments people may give you. As long as it doesn't sway your beliefs, everything is fine.

As long as it doesn't sway your beliefs, everything is fine. Why do you draw distinction between Christian and Catholic? Because such is what I've seen. In many aspects they are the same, in many ways they are not. For instance, if you were to say, I believe in spirits in some Catholic schools or churches, they wouldn't really put you down. Christian's however, many of them, if you did so they'd say there's just God, and Jesus, and they may say the Holy Ghost. Anything other then that is demonic. And yes, I've gotten these responses before, hell my school wanted to expel me because I stood up for witches, which, at the time I was going to the Christian school because my mother was Christian. So I'm speaking from experience. I'm not saying ALL people or like this or whatever, but some of them can be.

That's so funny that someone stated that! I was having a discussion with some of my friends today and asked one "You're Catholic, arn't you?" and another of them goes, "No, he's Christian." I just kind of started at them like neutral Until they fianlly asked me what I wanted, where I finally told them, "Catholosism (sp?) is a branch of Chrsitianity. If he's catholic, he's christian." and then I went on to make a joke, "And you call yourself a catholic..." it was pretty funny at the time, but I'm surprised at how many people don't realize that christianity isn't actually it's own religion, but the embrella of many.
I think that the one religion that is most accepting of other relgions is Ba'hai (sp?). It teaches that all religions are equal and should be treated equally. I know that Wicca teaches this as well but we all descrimigate against christians in some way. Just by being afraid that when you tell a christian about your faith that they'll freak is being descrimitory.

I don't know s**t about Bahá'í other than it's an Abrahamic religion.

They believe in all the supposed prophets of God, which is kind of cool. They believe that all religions have the same goal and message if you go to the core of them and they therefor believe that all religions are correct and equal.
