I was just wondering if anyone else has been gutsy enough to do it in a darkroom. It's one of the greatest effects I've ever done using film and it makes all the colors pop. As a former film-jockey (I slaved over a million film canisters for hours at my old camera shops job, processing loads of film everyday), I occassionally took advantage of my situation and cross processed a few rolls of film and was amazed with the results. I don't have any copies currently on my computer, but I was just hoping someone else enjoyed this fun little technique other than me. (I reccomend it for those of you that like loud colors and high contrast. If you don't develop your own film, you can occassionally find a nice photo shop employee who will cross process for you, as long as they develop their color film on site)

I've heard of people just walking into Wal-Mart and getting it cross-processed. Of course, a lot of these people blacked out everything that said "E-6" with a sharpie and just wrote "PROCESS C-41" all over it, but hey, it works.

I've yet to cross process (or "xpro" if you're with the cool kids.) anything yet, but I have a roll of Elite Chrome I'm planning on cross processing, with some Velvia on the way. I've also heard that tungsten-balanced films (such as Fujichrome 64T) xpro really nicely.
