The territory consists of several main components. In the center, there is a thickly wooded area. This containes a clearing framed and shielded by low foliage known as the pack meeting place. Surrounding areas are utilized as den space, both in small hills, under logs, and at the bases of hollowed out tree trunks. Most dens are spacious and warm in all seasons. Off to the east, there is a marshy area that becomes dry and cracked in the summer. The unique drought/moist combo year round aids in hunting. Further out, there is a small field where rabbits and mice can easily be hunted.
To the North, there is a region that is mostly hilly with shorter trees and rocky ledges. The West is home to a small pond which is fed by an even smaller stream which is constantly aerated by bubbling over rocks. This is good for bathing and drinking, but is not a source of fish.
Lastly, to the South of the terrain is a sandy, almost dune area. This is dry and red in the sun and is used as a training ground. The sand makes for eased training and faster muscle fatigue in the warriors. There are also ledges carved of rock and hills that are easy to tumble down if one's footing is not sure.
