So! Fighter-y fightin'! Basically, you take a big sword, the bigger the better, and you swing it at stuff. And... then you do it again. And you just keep doing that until nobody ain't tryin' to hit you no more. But, and here's the tricky part, you CAN'T hit the people you're friends with. So you actually have to see whatcher gonna hit BEFORE you swing. *Pause* So, unless anyone has any big questions for everybody, I'm gonna start trainin' y'all individually. Just ask me about anything you need help with, and then I'll give you partners or pair with ya m'self and give everybody wooden swords. Until then, do some drills or however you practice and I'm gonna get myself ready. *Spends a minute practicing to prepare maneuvers.* ((This is also where I'll be taking questions as to combat in general. Any questions here will be answered promptly by Diolo, SlyFoxMan, of myself.))

"So the teacher is some sort of barbarian." Fafnir muttered under his breath in a raspy voice. Looking at the insturctor, wondering about nen-winnan was going to teach. The thought of a wodden sword was unappealing, for all fafnir needed was his body and his quater staff. "And what if we choose not to use big weapons?" Fafnir asked, partly knowing the answer. More wanting to know how nen would respond.

More wanting to know how nen would respond. ((Ah, so a monk then? rolleyes )) Well... *He seemed to ponder this for awhile* I suppose you dont technically HAVE to use big weapons. Although I don't know why you wouldn't. However, if that is whacha choose to do then I guess thee ain't nothin' wrong with it. But I mean, if you don't have a big sword, how can you do this? *Nen sets up as many targets as the 10 ft around him can hold ((which should be 16)) and shifts his stance slightly. Shifting his stance slightly and with a look of grim readiness, he jumps and whirls faster than even the most well-trained eye can follow, and in the blink of a second, you see 2 distinct cuts appear on each of the dummies.* Now see! Could you do that with something smaller? mrgreen

So I guess you can use whatever you want, just make sure when you hit somebody you don't hurt 'em. I don't fancy gettin' cracked a good one over the head with that big stick of yours. Since it don't look like nobody else cares, I'd be happy to train you for awhile or just let you go on and do whatever. If you DO feel like fightin' I wont use anything funny on ya.

Acting first, Nen remembers in the past to take off all his items save his sword and armor ( sweatdrop ) and then charges into combat, giving a mighty swing of his sword. ((Hitting for subdual at +41 ))

Fafnir surpirsed by the instructors speed, but he had to attack. Doing two stabbing motions with his staff in a flurr of blows. (( 1d20 for each attack. I get two at a -2 penilty each))
