Human King Gavin and his beautiful Elven Queen Lorna rule from their thrones apon a raised dais at the far end of the grand ballroom. White marble pillars line the room, interspersed between the floor-to-ceiling windows that are framed by drapes in royal red velvet. Double doors lead into the room from the other end; members of the royal court line either side of the room while court is in session. Tables are brought in for feasts, removed for dancing. Terrace doors lead onto the stone-railed balcony.

Laws of the Land

1. All in Aleron are held equally accountable in the eyes of the law, regardless of station, race, gender, age, or religious creed. Your choices are yours, as are the consequences of your actions.

2. Theft, murder, rape, witholding payment on debts(both private and public), arson, fraud, and destruction of property, are all actions held in highest contempt in Aleron. If charges of any of the same are brought against you, you must defend yourself before the King and his Court. Should you be found guilty, the gallows await you.

3. Any personage may be granted an audience with the Royal Court and their Majesties to settle matters of domestic dispute, plead mercy on a criminals behalf, or request a boon.
