I wanted to start making a couple of characters for ZeA, but then I don't want to go through th development and find out that no one is running the game, and there's no interest. So, are there any creatures of the night out there?

Unfortunately, the crew members who created it went inactive shortly after. However, I know (and I'm sure you noticed) Chocolution was interested in RPing there. If the two of you want to RP together there, be my guest! As for storyline, there currently is none so just make up one of your own. I'd be more than happy to facilitate any storyline you want to create there (if you need my help outside of RP).

Eventually, I may have to find a new moderator for that Realm. It doesn't appear like either of the previous mods will be returning.
In fact, I have a thread going in Registered Guilds for that reason (trying to find a competent mod).

I'd volunteer to run ZeA, but I'd almost rather craft a new vampire realm, to be honest. I don't like stealing away another person's ideas, even if they've abandoned them.

Well, I'm not exactly dead-set on keeping ZeA as is, or at all for that matter, if the owners of that Realm never return (or don't return in time to save it from being scrapped).
Obviously, crew applicants will under-go a more stringent "interview" process before I make anyone else a crew member (just speaking in general here, not about anyone in particular), just to make sure I "hire" someone who's a little more reliable.

I'll see what I can do about ZeA. I think the two people might have been swamped with a thing called life.
I'd like to start RPing in it, make another active Realm; talked to someone about it today actually.

For the record, the Realm was simply moved to a crew-only area, to avoid confusion and clean up the subforums area.

It's been said before, but I'll say it again. If the original mods for that Realm ever come back, or if someone else wanted to put in the effort to get it active and maintain the Realm themselves, I'll gladly re-open ZeA.
