Name: Tuesday Bywater

Age: 23

Profile: Tuesday stands 5’7”, and she’s very, very thin. She has black hair and blue eyes. Her skin is naturally on the pale side and burns easily, so she does her best to avoid a lot of sunlight.

Description: Tuesday is a fair-skinned young woman, and her black hair only serves to accentuate that. She is somewhat tall and very thin, and as light on her feet as a ballet dancer. She wears clothes that are always some shade of brown or red, usually with green or white accents. She always carries an old brown satchel, which contains some jewelry, food, and money.

Personality: Tuesday is quick to entertain others because she loves seeing smiles on people’s faces. There’s too much tragedy in the world and she’d rather not think about it every hour of the day. Though she’s quick to share stories and knowledge and song, she’s very slow to share her own personal history. She would rather run than fight, and she’d rather take the pain than have a friend feel it.

History: While her parents were both killed in a snowstorm on the Northern Continent somewhere around six months after her birth, a soldier on a training mission rescued Tuesday from a frozen grave. He brought the babe back with him. No one knew why she or her parents had been out in the frozen north by themselves. What they did know, though, was that even as a little six-month-old Tuesday had a great deal of skill with the archane. She had been able to subconsciously create a heated defensive barrier. After some debating, they shipped her off to be schooled in Archaic Magic on the Eastern Continent.

And the older she got, the more she hated it. She wasn’t made for fighting, so the Dark Archane wasn’t for her. Blood and guts tended to make her go weak in the knees and either faint or throw up. She didn’t want to be just a defensive shield, and she certainly didn’t want to help people kill people. She wanted to make people happy.

By age twelve, she had heard of Rialis, the “party city.” It sounded exactly like what she was looking for. It was a place of entertainment, bright colors, happiness. A place where knowledge was an active, fluid thing and not a stuffy thing to be found in books. By age fourteen, she had plotted her escape from school and made her way to Rialis.

From then on, she used what magic she knew and melded it with entertainment, making it her great goal to make people happy in a world where so much seems to be so much about fighting. She travels around from place to place to bring a bit of cheer, usually with a group of performers, but sometimes by herself.

Motivation/Goal: Tuesday’s great goal is to bring more joy to the world as a whole. She doesn’t care about being the best performer, the most polished dancer or singer, the greatest magic user. If she makes a single person smile, she feels like she’s on track. If she makes a whole crowd forget their worries for even a few moments, she feels happier herself.

Weapon: She prefers not to fight, and thus carries no weapons.

Fighting Style: Tuesday doesn’t do a lot of fighting. When she does, her fighting style is more like dancing than anything else. She understands the fluid movement and balance involved in dance, so she draws on that knowledge. She has never had to kill, and never intends to.

Abilities:
---Light Show: This ability is more flashy than anything else. Using it, Tuesday can create orbs of light in various sizes, colors, and levels of brightness. While she could use them to blind an opponent, she more often uses them as a part of a show.
---Song of Emotion: Through song, either vocal song or instrumental, Tuesday can influence the emotions of those within earshot. The extent of the influence varies depending on the will of the person and the energy that Tuesday puts into it. She can’t control how a person acts, but she can make a person feel a certain way. (Yet, some people become incredibly calm when angry, and some people become furious when in love. She can’t control how they react to the emotion, just the emotion they feel.)
---The Blanket: This is what Tuesday calls the weak defensive barrier she can use. It feels and flexes like a softer fabric, but it has at least the defensive strength of studded leather. It blocks sound waves completely and creates a layer of warmth.
---Healing: Tuesday isn’t very practiced in healing, but it was the first skill she was taught when she was made to study the archane. As it stands, she heal minor wounds easily, and more serious wounds that aren’t necessarily life-threatening she can patch up with effort. Extreme damage to internal organs she can heal a little, but not completely. She just isn’t that good.

Skills: Tuesday is a performer before anything else. She sings, she dances, she acts, she plays all sorts of instruments. She can come up with stories and songs just off the top of her head easily.
