someone finally has elegant snowy leggings for sale in the marketplace for a decent price, & of course, i blew all my gold on sports jackets (even though they're super sexy & i got them for a good price >w>).
so now i'm going to whore myself out in the chatterbox so i can scrounge up some gold. mad d
does this happen to anyone else or am i just hopeless with money? gonk

I like blowing gold xd Although I really should save for the expensive stuff I want. In other words, yes it happens to me too. YOu're not the only one who is hopeless.

I'm not much of an exchanger or quester. I wanted to save up for mythic hair, or whatever it's called, but I never really saved up past 5k. The only donation item I've ever bought was the Dark Star. I have a bunch of donation letters from when my friend quit, but I haven't done much with them. They sit in my storage now. EDIT: According to tektek, I am worth 5,361,611 Gold. I am good at jigsaws though, so that's a pretty good gold source some days. There are some that are easier to beat on insane. I like the one with all the people looking up with the brick background. That one has a lot of colors and everyone looks different, and smaller, so you have a lot of features there that are easy to make out. Anyways, this is turning into a paragraph, so I'll end by saying one thing...
Is it bad that I kind of want to start questing to get a pair of mini wings to give to Cam? rofl

Ah, but you were questing for yourself, Cam! In this instance, someone else would be questing for you. It's not that hard to spin something like this into a fun quest. People are suckers for a "I WANT TO GET THIS GUY SOMETHING AWESOME BECAUSE I WOULDN'T BE WHERE I AM TODAY AND HE'S TTLY COOLIES." type of quest, and with constant exposure from a jigsaw room (those things get traffic like whoa) it would probably generate a lot of gold and donators. Considering that by solving puzzles, they obtain gold, and forum lurkers would be encouraged to go to the room because that's where most of the action would be... And whether it's a lot of work depends on the forum you seek prominence in. In this case, the foods forum would actually be pretty easy. Once a day post a picture of what you made for dinner, and a simple recipe for it, and from there recipe swap. Maybe on the weekends make a dessert like rhubarb crisp or compare a 1 step angel food cake to a home made recipe. Hmmm... Actually, that last one sounds pretty good. :9
