Ok, so it's not a huge one but at my school I'm in charge of getting free films onto campus for the students.
In February we're having a week of international films. We have a couple suggestions like Amelie, Laagan, Monsoon Wedding, and Life is Beautiful.
We need a line up of films that will show students a variety of films around the world.
I also need an asian film for this and I still don't have any idea of what to show. I have seen a bunch but a lot of them aren't licensed in the united states.
I'd appreciate any recommendations. thanks 3nodding

I don't think Attack the Gas Station is licensed, sadly. I would definitely show that film if i could.

I dunno, there are some popular Cantonese films that are mainstream for people to enjoy. Gen X Cops is licensed and it has pretty boy actors.

I kinda want to make this a film festival thread, especially since the 2005 Philadelphia Film Festival will be here in a matter of months.
I'm ecstatic.

No, the site isn't even up yet crying The pic on the phillyfests site looks Korean, though, any ideas? http://www.phillyfests.com/templates/home.cfmFunny that the film society isn't that far from where I work. It's like a block away! Oooh, I wanna join and make them bring more Asian films! They had a great selection last year 3nodding
