Draconis has seen this, certainly, and I think I've seen it, too. For many of the literate people joining the guild (especially the ones I tend to invite), RPing is a big deal. Generally, RP subforums fill up pretty quickly. I was thinking it might be worth it to have a seperate RP subforum dedicated just to that - if Barton is seperate from Community, maybe we should seperate our RPs from Community, too. Just a thought; I wanted to get some reactions from crew and members on this one. If anyone else thinks this is a good idea, I'm willing to buy the subforum to make it happen.

I'm not a big roleplayer, but having a roleplaying subforum sounds like a good idea to me. Most of the guilds I've seen had a seperate subforum just for roleplaying. Who knows - maybe some members on here will come up with a plot line for a roleplay that will spark my interest enough for me to join! surprised (-hasn't been interested in a roleplay in Barton Town for a looonnggg time.-)

heh, I've never really roleplayed. but it seems like a good idea to me, to have a seperate subforum for it.
it'd help the guild grow, and be a funner place for people to hang out~
if you really want to, I say go for it. o;

I used to do a MAJOR roleplay when I had time back then but since then I have been zero on major ones just 1 liner here and there and thats about it. More likely I won't be able to partake any roleplaying here but the idea seems ideal to me.

It really depends on how the new subforum with the rp's goes over. If we get a lot of active rp's, we'll probably separate it.

Actually, I'm going to go ahead and authorize this project. Make a new sub forum and edit it out of the GR Community. Make sure in the rules and intro thread posted in the RP sub forum, you are extremely clear on every rule, what threads are allowed, and so on. Most of the rules threads aren't very clear, but this one must be.

Sounds fun... if we have an RP sub here I might actually start to RP again.

In order for an actual RP subforum to be created- the current one would have to be really active. At least that's my opinion on it.

SWEET-a**! ;DDD
*Rushes off to incorporate her old Dragonboosters roleplay here*
You remember that, eh, Rabbit? My constant insistence that everyone in the New Members thread join my roleplay? Don't worry, my plot is a little more well-thought-out now.
