how do i make this pencil roll across the table? i don't have any clue where to start..

Well, don't take my word as stone, it's been a while since I've done anything like this. First off, why are you doing telekinesis? If you're doing it just so you can show off to other people, it isn't going to work, no matter how hard you try. You have to have a good reason in mind if you want to be able to do this.
You have to focus - hard - on that pencil, wanting it to move. This is another exercise of mind over matter. You can't make the pencil immediately roll off it's surface. Instead, just try to get it to slowly rock back and forth in place, a little bit at a time. You probably won't be able to get this the first few times you try, but don't get discouraged. Practice makes perfect, right?
Now telekinesis is draining, so don't try it too many times in one day. But if you keep that up, you just might be able to roll the pencil a little bit across, and maybe, right off the table.
I used to make my pencil rock, but I was better at making a small pendulum swing violently. I hope this has been helpful, and good luck!
