Since abandoned realms or completed arcs are not impossible occurances, you might add a rule that if a realm is abandoned for a reasonable length of time by moderators and players, and if no one is willing to take it over, it will be removed or marked inactive or relocated to a Former Realms forum or some such.
There's a suggestion smile

That's pretty much how it stands, I just don't have any specific rule or time frame on it. As far as removing/relocating/marking inactive, I haven't decided how I want to handle that yet. For now, I'm going to see what we end up doing with ZeA and probably use that as an example of how to handle future deaths of Realms. wink
Thanks for the suggestion, keep the ideas coming! biggrin

How does everyone feel about having a dice system to determine spell and attack success rate (and possibly other factors like damage)? Not necessarily in every Realm, just those that want to use it.
I'm working on creating a system for it, with a possibility of even having Hit Points.

It would help determine what abilites may be overpowered (of course it'd be up to the GM to really say if it is overpowered or not) and have the battles end a bit more fairly. ALSO you couldn't just go "I hit you with 100000 PUNCHES after I POWERED UP! U DED! HAHAHAHAHA" Anyway I think it's a good idea biggrin

Maybe there could be a subforum for "roleplaying practice" for beginners or people who need to brush up on their roleplaying skills for whatever reason before they jump into the "real" roleplay. You know, like if they don't pass in the audition thread then maybe they could be instructed to practice in that subforum until they get better and then they can audition again. There are a lot of potential roleplayers out there -- they just need to learn how and practice. Anyway, there could be tutors and stuff too.

That sounds like a good idea. Probably more suited to a thread rather than a whole subforum, though.

Suggestion - Find a way to get all the Archanum characters into one thread in the biographies section.
Note - This may mean people would have to copy/paste their chars into the new thread, so that they were still able to edit them later, I'm not sure.

Oh, I like chocolution's idea! I think what he means is that it would be more "organized" to have all of the profiles in one thread than in many separate threads... but I am not sure. I think it's a good idea!

Well the reason I decided on [trying] having each profile be it's own thread, is so that each character could post additional information for their character, or additional history, changes, etc... or also for other players to post comments/questions about said character. If it turns out we don't need to be able to do those things with our characters, or our players don't use that option, then we might do as Choco suggests.
For now we'll just leave it as is, since it would be quite an undertaking to get each player to repost their character. Keep in mind also that (so far) I have been giving each Realm owner the option to use either method (single character thread, or separate threads).

Another suggestion is to get all the RPs more "up and running" and "active." Maybe encourage more people to RP if they haven't already? Or invite a lot of other people into the guild?

Haha. Easier said than done, but we are working on that. If you have any friends on Gaia that are also into RPing you're more than welcome to invite them to join (we even have a contest going for that purpose on the main forum).

That seems kinda hard though. The contest, I mean. What if the person doesn't say you referred them when they join? I think it would be easier if you told people to post a list of RPers and then let the crew invite them.
