c. An instance of paralell octaves or fifths.
d. A Diminished vii chord that does not resolve to a I or i chord
(For those who see this as gibberish, it's easily explained in the basics of partwriting.)

As such, desecration of the science of alchemy or its practitioners shall be seen as some kind of infraction against His Lordship and shall be punished accordingly.
2-A). The only case in which this may not apply is if the alchemist against whom an act has been made has ever performed or plans to engage in an act that defies the sacred laws of alchemy or declares that he is able to do so. This includes:

Crime and Punishment
There are five levels of crimes that can be committed against Lord Trinity. There is also an Extreme Level that exists beyond the fifth level that is reserved for the most egregious of heretics.
Quote:
1). Offenses of the First Level are minor infractions against Lord Trinity and can usually be repaired with a simple prayer for forgiveness at the altar of any one of his temples along with whatever act of pennance that one of the temple's clergy charges you with. These offenses include minor crimes like accidentally scratching an icon of Lord Trinity or staining a divine robe or committing a similar act against one who finds favor with Lord Trinity.
2). Offenses of the Second Level include slightly less minor infractions against Lord Trinity or the intentional committing of a First Level Offense. These can usually be forgiven by a simple prayer of apology, making right whatever crime was committed, an additional act of pennace, and a donation to the Church of the Chaotic Overlord. These offenses include highly obvious but reversible crimes against Lord Trinity such as the spilling of paint on any icon of Lord Trinity or accidentally burning divine robes or committing a similar act against those who find favor with him. Conspiracies to cheat Equivalence may also fall into this category.
3). Offenses of the Third Level include greivous and sometimes irreversible acts against Lord Trinity or the intentional committing of a Second Level Offense. These are far more severe than Second Level Offenses and require immense sacrifice in order for them to be forgiven. These sacrifices usually incur a hefty donation to the Church of the Chaotic Overlord, a heavy act of pennance, multiple prayers for forgiveness, a pilgrimage to the Grand Temple of the Arraenugeth and some form of minor quest that will be given by a higher level priest of the Grand Temple. These offenses include acts like the public denouncement of Lord Trinity, burning or other such destruction of any symbol of his power or the murder of one who finds favor with him. Plans of flesh forging and successful breaking of divine providence are also known to fall in this category.
4). Offenses of the Fourth Level are actions against Lord Trinity that are blatant acts of heresey and insubordination or the intentional committing of a Third Level Offense. Such actions may be punishable by swift death or a horrifying curse upon such an individual. Forgiveness of such actions is almost never offered but would most certainly entail some drastic form of pennance such as committing the remainder of one's life to Lord Trinity. These offenses include the destruction of a temple of Lord Trinity or a temple's worth of icons, the mass murder of his followers, and the defiling of Lord Trinity himself should he apppear in person. Attempts of flesh forging fall into this category.
5). Offenses of the Fifth Level are regarded as insane, blatant acts against Lord Trinity that are meant never to be forgiven and the intentional committing of a Fourth Level Offense against Lord Trinity. Forgiveness is never offered for such crimes and woe be unto the soul who commits such egregious acts. The penalty for such actions invariably involve a dark and terrible curse against the perpetrator that will follow him until the end of his days. These offenses include a public defilement of Lord Trinity, attacking him or his messenger, or making some mockery of him. Repeated attempts of flesh forging will fall into this category.
6). Offenses of the Extreme Level are regarded as completely unforgivable acts that warrants eternal damnation for bothe the perpetrator and all of his decendants. Invocation of this level of punishment is rare but is known to happen. Invariably, the perpetrator and every one of his decendants will be stricken with a curse that will remain with the family line for as long as that family shall live on. Lord Auric reserves the right to assign the Extreme Level to any who stands against him, within reasonable limits.
Rituals and Sacrifices
1). Normal citizens need only pray to Lord Trinity every night in order to prove their loyalty to him. Prayers are most effective when they are made when both the sun and moon can be seen during the twilight.
2). Truly devout followers (or those trying to get back on Lord Trinity's good side) will sacrifice one animal of white coloration and one of black coloration at the beginning of every month. For this purpose, any mammal or bird is acceptible, including rats.
3). Priests in the Temples that honor Lord Trinity will sacrifice one animal of white coloration and one of black coloration at the beginning of every month.
4). Twice a year, during the Festival of Ebony Light and the Festival of Ivory Shadows, the two most sacred priests of the High Temple of Discord will sacrifice ten of the purest doves and ten of the blackest ravens at the grand altar. The priests don ceremonial garb that was crafted by Lord Trinity himself and has been handed down in the Grand Temple for generations of high priests.
Festivals and Days of Worship
1). The most significant festivals to Lord Trinity are the Festival of Ebony Light and the Festival of Ivory Shadows which take place on the Vernal and Autumnal Equinox, respectively.
2). Temples will also perform the monthly ritual of sacrifice at the beginning of each month.
Instances of Appearance
1). Lord Arraenugeth rarely appears in any temple with the exception of the Grand Temple, but will usually appear there during the grand festivals in his honor.
2). Lord Arraenugeth will appear in response to a prayer, usually in an ethereal variation of his standard form. In this form, he is rendered untouchable since he is simply projecting his image and is not there in the physical sense.
3). Lord Arraenugeth will occasionally assume the guise of a normal mortal, usually to test others. In this form, he can be striken but will usually reveal himself in response and punish the human who failed his test.
4). If they know the proper method, a mortal can summon Lord Trinity. However, this could cause bad things to happen to the summoner if it is overused.
