Often they would have set rules.

It may provide some asistance to all who have expeienced this unpleasant event .

Sample" Writing the first story that comes to mind when you read the word of the day.

Erm, that's quite the list, WildWildWindWhisperer-san.

Anyway, all aspiring writers should learn to be resourceful and quick-witted. Having an exceptional vocabulary can also be a valuable asset.

Having a dictionary or thesaurus nearby helps when you're at a literal loss for words. This also prevents you from overusing a word. It also helps to base your characters off real people that you know personally. This way, the characters can have a realistic feel and the readers can learn to relate to them.

It's also alright to base your plot off other stories. After all, no one's perfect right off the bat. "Just keep writing, and your own style will eventually emerge." is my favorite quote.

Try to practice as often as possible, such as in the forums. Replying with bland answers causes the conversation to lose luster.

You don't need to worry about grammar during the first draft. You can always correct it in the near future. This could prolong the time gap in between chapters, but at least it prevents errors and can raise the level of your story's sophistication.

Last bit of advice:
Have someone proofread it before you publish it. You, being the writer, might have a biased opinion on the story, and claim that there are no problems with it. And also be pen to criticism. "Stupid is the man who hates correction", quoting a Bible verse.

Well, hope I've been of help! I'll post again if anything else comes to mind. For now, farewell and persevere!

Something that a writer can be aware of are tense issues. No not stress.
tee he hee smile
Pasts & Present tense issues.
I do not say this lightly for this s my biggest problem with my rough drafts.
That an writing taht instead of that.

These are easily repaired in 1st edit and quite easily rendered excleent in 2nd editing.
