Hello, I'll be your annoyingly enthusiastic, brown nosing class mate for this course!Wow, Onyx, reading your intro makes me really jealous of you. My name is Chi online, but here you can call me Kim, but you don't have to. Really, it's just as easy either way; I like to keep it monosyllabic. I'm a 17 year old waiting to leave my last year of high school. I recently completed my portfolios to two Universities, and was accepted (Thank the Mods) I am a member of: Reach for the top- Trivia, Historica Youthlinks Summit Club, Book Club, Envirothon, BioTech, and I organize and run my schools small art club. I love my friends, I love to dance and sing (No good at it.) I love animated movies and books that bring me to tears. I cry easily, especially when I make mistakes or get bad grades. So I'm very busy. I like life frantic. Art work consumes me. Some people come home, do homework, watch tv, download stuff and listen to movies, maybe they call people or hang out with friends. Not me. Art is my full time job. I sit at my bed with the computer on, or downstairs with my latest project, and I work almost non stop until 12, when I may get around to my homework. I'm uncomfortable calling myself an artist, and never do, but I try to push myself with every project. To work with new things (It's wax painting this week) I love Gaia; it's warm, accepting, and supportive. I can wait to meet all you guys. Sorry for writing so much. Hello, I'll be the clueless little kid for this course!
Yeah, I'm Inch. I'm only in my first year of highschool, and so I don't really know alot about art. Last year I was in some art classes at a local art college, and I've also taken quite a few animation courses, so I know the basics of everything. Abstract art=my love.
Like Canto, art is my life-sort of. If I'm not onstage singing or dancing, I'm sitting in a corner somewhere, sketching up another character for my animation project. Gaia's a pretty cool place, I own a semi-dead animation guild, but we're trying to bring it back.
Uhm, I love reading and writing too, reading more than writing. Sometimes a novel will just consume me, and you won't hear from me for a day, possibilly more. I like most types of books, although my favorites are mostly classics-Victor Hugo, and a non-classic write, Diana Wynne Jones. <3

You should like us to your animation guild! I would like to join! You sound like my kind of person, what with the singing and the dancing and the book reading! Those are all kick a** things! ^___^ Actaully, I've never done any animation, but I would really like to. 4laugh cause I hope to eventually be a professional animatior.

Hello, I'll be the strange fashionista for the class I'm going to be a fashion student next year but my first and greatest love is painting.
My username is lollipopgestapo, but that's not because I'm a nazi. I'm just Tori Amos-obsessed. My real name is Molly. Unlike you guys I have no abilities in photography, writing, music or dance. I'm quite a loaf and after 7 years of marching band I'd rather listen to music than be anyway involved in the making of it. I did try writing a novel in junior high. 140 pages of crap. ^_^
I'm a senior in high school and will be going to Columbia College in Chicago next fall. I turned in my fashion illustration portfolio+ some painting slides for a scholarship and they are giving me $5,000 a year! (That's $20,000 altoghter!) I got third place in the SPC (South prairie conference I think it stands for) for an acrylic painting. I probably would have done better if I had been told sooner than a day before hand and could have finished that painting. I'm in AP art so I probably won't start this until summer because I'm still not done with my concentrations(2 to go!). I'm the president of my book club, an ex-marching band member, and I went to photography club meeting for like a month before I decided I'm no good at photography. Give me studio art any time.
I can't choose a style I quite like. All my concentrations are surreal and I'm also in love with impressionism. The only styles that I don't quite get along with almost ever are conntemprary and pop art. My favorite thing to do is portraits, or at least something where a human takes up most of the compostition. I can't wait to get done with AP art so I can work on my own art! When it comes to art I'm really competetive. Which just means I try to pick someone out that's better than me and strive to get better than them. Otherwise, I'd just doodle. So it's good for me to be in a classroom or the like.
I hate vacation. I can't paint here. >_<

Hello, I'll be the talentless ... person ... who doesn't know why she's following this pattern, not that she has anything against it.
Um... yeah. My online name is Starre, and I hatethat name but not asmuch as I hate my real name... I'm from Manhattan and I'm a high school student (but not at an art high school... I started drawing after I would have had to apply to those). I wish I were better at art, particularly anatomy and realism.
I like anime (Slayers, Scrapped Princess, Paradise Kiss), and Broadway musicals (Les Miserables, Rent, Aida).
