I finally have come up with a new poem. Inspired loosly by.......Kingdom Hearts. Don't ask. The first two lines popped into my head, and along came the rest.
The Self.
I am the light which all men seek,
I am the darkness, hidden down deep.
I am the one who devours the meek,
Leaving them all, one giant heep.
Fear me now, fear me then,
Inside you'll look,
Read yourself like a book.
Your light to find,
Through darkness, you'll climb.
The distant past,
The future far,
All connected,
Through hearts and time.
Remember me,
I'll remember you,
And we'll always be together,
Forever still.
