O-O;; Pardon my say-so, but yesterday was a shitty day. It was absolutely horrid. I hate the school that I attend. They're incompetent, and are seriously lacking the ability to obtain my highschool transcripts from seperate schools...Thusly, I have 11.99 credits my junior year. Something wrong with this picture? I sure think so.
Anyways, I was headed over to my house from my friend Austin's, and a boy from one of my Band teacher's classes walks up to me. Now, I'm in a wheelchair half my time, because that's how I get around the school...I was ambushed by second graders a few days ago, who wanted to know all sorts of things about why I'm in a wheelchair. So, I explained it to them...
o-O; Did you know my Male name is Cortney? Lotsa people are like... O-O;;;;; Anyways, the little boy walks up to me and asks:
" Hey Cortney, I have a friend that wants to know...Are you a girl?"
O-O;;;; I was like..."no." It's all I said, then I left...
I brushed off the question on the outside, but...I have to say, that for everything else that happened yesterday, that made my day so much better...To know that I'm getting more feminine. ^^- I've ranted, and I feel good.

I thought Cortney was a neutral name because I've known several guys and girls named Cortney. I even known guys who's name was Shannon.

1!ZZ Congrats smile If you dont mind me asking, why might you be in a wheel chair??? Ever seen Unbreakable? 'They call me Mr. Glass.' I've got Osteogenesis Imperfecta. Translated from latin, I have brittle bones. My legs just aren't as strong as most peoples' so I can't walk for long periods of time...And I'm always going places, so...Yeah. ^^; [/off topic]

Nah, it's not that bad. The man who's born blind doesn't know he's blind until someone tells him that. It's the same thing with me. O-O;;

I'm legally blind, and when people hear that they often say the same thing that you did, "that sucks".
But it really doesn't. I would not be even close to the same person that I am if I wasn't visually impaired. So, even though other people can't imagine not being able to see, it's just part of who I am and I would never change it.
