I'm keeping this simple:
Out of your pile of writing (prose, fictions, poems etc), which one would you like to have published first and why? surprised

I always thought I would publish a serious or dark book first, but I found it easier to write funny or down-right silly stories. So I'm hoping my novel Kidnapped by a Passionate Fool will be taken on by a publishing house.
As for why, I suppse I had a voice in my head telling me it's okay.

Is that what you posted here as "A Series of Annoying Events"? If it is, let us know if it gets published. I will totally buy it. It was awesome!
I think I would like to have one of my fantasy novels published first. Out of everything I write, those are my favorite.

I came up with a better title don't cha think? I'm in the editing stage but I wanna send it off soon. (I've changed it so much, even I'm getting overwhelmed by the mayhem gonk )

I think the new title you came up with is awesome. It's catchy and interesting. It'll make people in bookstores wonder which, of course, leads to sales. Absolute luck to you. Editing and revising can be so difficult. You have to keep up with things and make sure that everything still makes sense after you change certain things.

Oh, I loved that story and the new title fits so well! I wish you lots of luck with editting and publishing!
Hm, I think if I was trying to get my work published I might actually start with a collection of my short stories. That way I could have a nice mix of happy, sad, funny, and emotional stuff which people will not (hopefully) get easily bored with! Otherwise I would probably use one of my semi-serious modern fantasy stories just because those are closest to completion. sweatdrop

I'd probably send off some of my short stories to be published in other collections to get noticed. Then I'd publish the novel that I'm working on now that's causing me so much greif. sweatdrop I love it though, even if it's mean to me. LOL!

I'd probably get one of my fantasy novels published. I highly doubt anyone would buy it, but whatever. As for why... I want to be a writer! I guess the storyline is the first that I've actually stuck to for more than a year. ^_^

Some of those stories are retellings of old legends
