with tall buildings and deep subways, the city is where all the action is. with many stores and resturants to chose from the city is always busy with humans going about thier daily, or nightly affairs.

*Laura wrapped herself tightly in her coat, despite the warm air. Given no orders, and with alot of very unusual informatin on her mind she was doing alot of time thinking. Maybe too much thinking. she was suppose to be instinctual wasn't she. Stopping into a little dinner she ordered a burger and took a seat near a window to watch people go by*

walking down the streets he did his best to keep out of the light yet in an open enough area so that people could see him if something was to happen. he wasnt really worried about the vampire soldiers due to the fact that he wasnt as well known as the others, being in hiding for so long. although one can never be too carful. it was beging to become light out so his mind eased slightly as he walked into a 24 hour diner to get something to eat.

walking towards teh counter he nods towards Laura to let her know that he saw her. getting himself a coffee and a chocolet danish he walks over to her table. " mind if i join you? " he asks politly with a light smile.

with a light smile he sits across from her " i havent seen you around in a while ... what you been up to " he asks casually taking a small sip of his hot coffee. his smile slowly fades and he sighs looking around the diner at everyone that is in there. he looks like he may have something on his mind.

Logos sighed and hung up the phone. putting his helmet back on he quickly made his way to the shopping center in which she indicated. although he knew that they didnt trust him yet, most likly feeling that he is possibly just going to attack them when he has the chance. however he didnt wish this. right now all he wanted to do was to fight on the right side for a change, and to appoligise for what has happend to the Hybred in person.

The car pulled silently into one of the numerious parking space below the shopping centre. Slipping from behind the drivers seat Selene chestnut eyes scanned the brightly lit space, quickly discerning the way to the upper levels. With determined steps she made her way to the upper levels, blantly ignoring the questioning looks that were thrown her way because of teh death dealer attire that she wore. Although the space above was open and large, to Selene it felt cramped. People bustled to and fro, chattering insesently. Making her way toward a fountain that rested in the middle of the complex, she waited for Logos to appear.

parking his motorcycle in a vacant spot he sighed as he gazed towards the shopping center. he didnt particurally like crowed places like this, it always made him feel a bit cranky. but he would have to deal with it this time. walking inside he looked around untill his gaze found a map of the complex. walking over and looking over it carfully he located the meeting place and quickly made his way too it. seeing Selene he smiled out of relief and walked over to her. " i hope i didnt keep you waiting long ... i dont quite know my way around this area and i have never been to this place before ... " he spoke loud enough for her to hear but soft enough so that no one else would.

Selene shook her head in response to his question, although her expression remained cold as she looked at him. She didn't move any closer to the vampire, remaining where she stood. "This isn't some ploy by Marcus to infiltrate our resistence is it?" she asked, still skeptical of the vampires true intentions. She had been lied to by elder vampires before and didn't intend to trust their every word as she had once down. Her arms moved to cross over her chest as she waited for his response. She felt uneasy around him and her small arsenal proved to be little comfort to her.

shrugging lightly " if it was ... would i tell you ? " he knew that she wouldnt have trusted him, but to be so forward about him trying to trick them. well that kind of caught him off gaurd a bit. " i assure you that i am not with Marcus nor do i plan on sidding with him ... you have my word ... if that means anything to you ... " Logos was sure that his word didnt go far with her, but he knew he had to say it.

He was right. His word meant little to her, but it was all that she had to go by. She continued to regard him coldly, before nodding slightly to show that for the moment she would trust him. "I told the others I wouldn''t be long" she continued, indicating that perhaps they should leave this place. While it was true that the she had told the others she wouldn''t be long, she was also feeling rather uncomfortable in the hustle of the shopping centre.

with a quick nod he looked toward the exit " then shall we? ... i'll follow you on my bike ... i dont really feel comfortable leaving it behind... " he frowned slightly as his eyes darted around the busy center. " why do humans always crowd themselves to gether like this " he muttered.

Selene ignored his mutterings as she made her way back toward the parking lot. As they entered the depths below the shopping centre, Selene nodded to him briefly before making her way in the direction of teh car. She had noted the location of his bike, and the sleek black vehicle she was driving pulled up near it a short time later. The engine idled as she waited for him to start his own machine. She was still uneasy about leading him back to the den, and she knew that if he was indeed deceiving them she would make him pay with his life.
