The birds sung loudly as they announced the arrival of the season spring. Jaro moved slowly, allowing himself time to take in his own 'element'. He loved it when the spring came. It was warm, but not hot as summer. And cool, but warmer then winter. It was his time to enjoy himself, and have a reason to be happy for a whole three months.

Behind him, slithered his 'newest' friend. Alyra had run into Jaro some time ago, and had stuck by the Spring Wyrm's side. All during the travels, Alyra had slowly gotten him to open up to her. Jaro had told her about his fights, his friends and enemies.

Alyra casted her eyes up at the flightful birds, and envied them momentarily. She had never been able to get off the ground on her own with her own wings. The Fire/Wind wyrm sighed, looking forward as Jaro led her off to some place.

Regulus's soot colored tongue slipped out of his dark teal jaws, testing the air gently. His dark golden eyes narrowed. Someone else was out there. His deep aqua wings lowered closer to the ground, and he stalked forward, his eyes intent on figuring out who else was there. A friend or a foe: both were unwelcome. He disliked the company, and he only put up with Ahava because of how long they had known each other. Back before Regulus had started to value his privacy. And now that he had discovered his love for being alone, it was ever so hard to convince Ahava to allow his the luxury of being in solitude.

Ahava's aquamarine eyes watched the change in Regulus's position. As of late, the shadow wyrm had grown much too paranoid for her liking. He used to be full of so much more life than he was now. Then again, he was a shadow wyrm, and shadow wyrms were famous for their antisocial ways. She sniffed at the air curiously, wondering if Regulus had smelled something. A smile curved at the corners of her mouth. If she was correct, that was the bright scent of Jaro carrying across the air. The spring wyrm had a sort of scent that he carried around him due to his region of expertise. Someone else that she didn't know was with him.

"Jaro," she called. "Is that you?"

At the thought of hearing something, Jaro stopped midstep. His hearing craned, trying to hear even more. When a voice called his name, the spring Wyrm blinked.

"Ahava?" He called out, looking around the area slowly. "Ahava, is that you?"

When the Earth/Fire hybrid stopped, Alyra had to use all her might not to run into the Wyrm. She stared at him momentarily, who was Ahava? She had heard the voice say her friend's name. Oh, wait... She remembered Jaro telling her about a Light Wyrmess with the ability to influence attraction. Alyra looked around, now curious to meet the Wyrm Jaro had told her about.

Ahava approached the other two Wyrms with a confident stride. Regulus followed more warily, his golden eyes watching them for the slightest sign of aggression. Ahava smiled at Jaro. "Yes, it is me. How have you been lately? I haven't seen you for quite some time." She blinked, glancing at Alyra. "Who might your friend be? I don't believe we've ever met before, have we? My name is Ahava, and this is Regulus.

Regulus gave no indication that he had heard Ahava's attempted introduction save for a slight antisocial snort that obviously conveyed his opinion on meeting the other two. He wasn't one for "making friends".

As his eyes saw Ahava's rose-colored form, a smile broke onto his face. "Ahava, it's so good to see you again. I've been fine. What about youself?" His lime green gaze flickered to Regulus, offering a smile and a nod of the head in greeting.

Alyra blinked at the two Wyrms, taking in details about them. The light Wyrm seemed so kind, and the Shadow Wyrm seemed.... so cold. She looked up at Ahava, a slow smile breaking onto her face. "My name's Alyra. It's very nice to meet you, Ahava. And you, Regulus."

Regulus gave a slight grunt of recognition to their greetings, still watching them closely with his golden eyes.

Ahava sighed and shook her head. "Please forgive him his social ineptitude. He's a stereotypical shadow wyrm, I suppose. I'm been all right, I suppose. Nothing too unusual has occurred recently. It's a bit boring, actually." Her tail swished back and forth. "I wish I could practice my powers more, but I feel guilty trying it out on unsuspecting Wyrms."

Jaro studied the Shadow Wyrm for a moment, before looking back at Ahava. "Unsuspecting Wyrms? ...What if you tried on Wyrms who knew you were to use the power on them?"

Alyra nodded slightly. "It's alright." Her gaze flickered to Jaro for a moment. Was he actually offering to...?

Ahava sighed. "Not many Wyrms would agree to be test subjects in such a thing. Many might feel insulted if I merely asked them to allow me to test my growing abilities on them." She swished her tail, casting a pointed glance over at Regulus.

He snorted. There was no way he'd ever agree to such a thing, despite how many times Ahava had asked him. His golden gaze trailed over to Jaro. Was the brightly colored Wyrm actually suggesting...? No. It couldn't be. Still, he decided to warn him, just in case that was in fact what Jaro had in mind. "Are you foolish enough to try such a thing?" he asked the Spring Wyrm. "Her training is practically nonexistent. Her powers would run rampant."
