1)Zidane
2)vivi

4)Freya

I love Kuja, Blank, Beatrix, Mikoto (I wish they'd done more with her... Blank too)... As for player characters, Dagger, Zidane, and Amarant (I love the ATE about when he met Zidane xd ). And Vivi is just too lovable to leave out. I really like most of the characters in IX.
Now, characters I don't like: Quina. Definitely. Also, Xorn and Thorn, they were just... Vexing. Also, Brahne, she wasn't too bad of a character, but I just can't get past the blue face.

When it comes to my opinions... screw Squall, screw Cloud, they're too emo, I love Zidane! He has a colorful personality.

I love Vivi, Garnet, Zidane, Beatrix, Freya and Amarant.
I dislike Steiner very much, he's just an annoying character.

I really liked Freya. She had a wonderful storyline that really made you feel for her. Her home town was destroyed, her lover had completely forgotten her. I just wish that they could've solved things with her rather than just kind of abandoning them when you got more characters. As if you just picked up and left her out to dry. I also liked Kieko... I think that was her name... she was Amarant's original partner. She seemed like a really cool character and they just forgot about her too. I would've much rather gotten her in the party then amarant.
I disliked a lot of characters in the game. Quina... in a big way. I want her dead and never coming back. Cid... that mustache bugs me... Amarant; What is with your hair man?! Don't you ever comb that s**t?! and why are you flaming?! please don't tell me you've got a thing for zidane... ew... that's gross... no don't touch him there... talk2hand ...... and worst of all was Xorn and Thorn! I was soooooo happy when I never had to see them again, I just wish that it could've come around earlier in the game.

I always thought it was funny that he's not actually a criminal... That ATE in Treno is hilarious. ^^ Quina, though, and Zorn and Thorn... *strangle* (I always said Xorn, but everywhere online it says Zorn... I don't remember what it is.)

Lani! that's her name! Thanks Raven... I didn't watch any ATEs this time through cuz I was really trying to get through the game fast enough to get EXcalibur II. I guess... I'll have to... play it again..... *hangs head in shame*
and it's Xorn, I'm sure they just spell it that way because they pronounce it that way.

Every time this question comes up I always go with Vivi. I love that lil' guy 4laugh
And when it comes to evil bastards, alot of love goes to that sweet transvestite (looking), Kuja. Plus, he was inspired by one of my favourite musicians too so that's another plus. Also, how many villians do you know that could take control of the king of Dragons, Bahamut while not smirring their make-up and wearing an odd looking thong? Could Sephiroth or anyone else do that? No! Well maybe Kefka. He is kind of creepy after all.
For just plane weird characters, I love Quina simply because... Well s/he is, in fact, weird. Their's no getting around that. That thing is Weird with a capital W and in bold. I love it xd
For lead male characters, I happened to be quite fond of Zidane. Unlike most of the angst ridden lead characters that seem to float around in the FF series, Zidane keeps it real by just being a normal guy... With a tail.
I could go on and on about how and why I love each and every character in the game (Except for Queen Brahne). It's a shame you don't keep Beatrix in your team. And I'd have to agree with Maluc about wanting Lani on the team instead of Amarant. I hardly ever used that guy myself and I didn't care too much for the character. I'm not saying I hate Amarant, I'm just saying if I had to type why I like this guy it would be no longer then a sentence.
And now to end the ranting and find my copy of FFIX.

Can I ask everyone something? Why is it that everyone hates Quina? I understand why Maluc Fieri hates it (Maluc specified in another topic, I believe) but why does everyone else?
Is it because of it's appearance? It's lack of interesting story? (Forgive me but I don't think Amarant really had one either and yet some people absolutely love him confused ). Call me curious.
I'm not angry that people hate it. I just don't get why.
