Linkin Park is where it's at. i always listen to their songs, and through them, i've discovered i like rap (only by Mike Shinoda, though: he's the rapper in Linkin Park, even tho they're a Rock band... its a kewl mix!), (my fav. is "Breaking the Habit")
and i'm a Halo geek, so i rly like the soundtrack, one of the songs of which is in my signature that u guys can listen to: its made into an ad for Halo3, but i rly like the song mostly. ("Follow; First Movement of the Odyssey" by Incubus)
also, i like a select few of Godsmack's songs ("i stand alone" is fav.!), and Lost Prophets are kewl too. ("everyday combat" is meh fav. from their album!)
i also broke into my dad's Van Halen albums, so yeah.... "Fire in the Hole!"

i like techno ("Kyur4 Th Ich" by Joseph Hahn, from Linkin Park; "Blue, Da Ba Dee" by Eiffel 65; "Never Surrender" by Nataraj, from the Halo soundtrack)
i used to like country, but that was when i lived in Georgia and Florida (dad was in Navy ^^); as soon as i moved to NY state and Wisconsin, and now to NH, that all changed to Rock, techno, and a bit of rap.

I have to agree with Cowleanna, Don't matter by Akon is a very good song. I also like mostly country. but i listin to everything. love soad and flyleaf, staticx, and evans blue.
