On April 1st, in honor of April Fool's Day, everyone that signed in their account received a "magical black box" which was flying around. When you opened the box you found a "platinum halo."
When one equipped the "platinum halo" they would have their face covered in black soot.. HA
After April 1st, GAIA changed the name to worthless black box and the platinum halo to black face soot. It was actually a decent little one day event.
