Intro Post// >Rules
Hello guys, and welcome to the guild's first fanfiction contest! I'm putting this up because I'd like to see even MORE activity from everyone (even though the people who are active are trying very hard to keep this guild alive, THANK YOU) and a way for the guild to bond. Alright, I have a few simple rules that I'd like everyone to follow when submitting.
[1] Make it about NejiSaku, DUH.
[2] It must be a NEW fanfiction, written just for this contest. I will NOT accept previously written ones.
[3] If you'd like, it could be a chapter story, but I'd honestly prefer one-shots to save your own time.
[4] Make sure there is absolutely NO bashing of other characters
[5] Other pairings could also be in there. Try to not to make anything to wacky though, since I'm NOT perfect and have my own dislikes.
[6] Make sure you turn in your fanfiction by the DEADLINE.
[7] Lastly, I'd like everyone to follow one theme for their fanfiction, either being summer or sunrise. This is to challenge you and see what you could come up with.
Alright, rules aside, I'd like at least three people to join this contest, just so we can have a first, second, and third place winner. Of course, prizes will be given to the winners, and a judging team will be organized. Please see the next post for more information.

Okay gang, basically, I'd like that when you write your fanfiction, you post it up somewhere OTHER than in the guild's fanfiction thread. You could also PM the link to me, so I could post it in here. I would suggest uploading it onto fanfiction.net if you wanted.
The deadline for submitting a fanfic will be May 25, 2007. In my opinion, this would be long enough to get some creative thoughts flowing onto paper. If you do not think so, PM me and we can talk it out. Alrighty then, to submit a piece of fanficiton, please PM me the link so I could put it up here.

Judges Panel// >How to get in
So, you'd rather judge a fanfiction instead of write one? Well, TOO BAD. YOU CAN'T. >: D Naw, I'm just kidding. XD
If you'd like to be a judge, you must follow two simple rules:
[1] If you apply to be a judge and get the spot, you cannot submit fanfiction for the contest. This is to prevent foul play, like voting for your own work.
[2] Just please try and remember to be fair. Don't vote for a friend's fic just because they are your friend.
Now, let me make this clear: the judges get the final say in who wins BUT, the guild can vote as well. Once the deadline has been reached, a poll will be placed to vote for the best fanfiction, each counting one point. But, the judges' vote counts as two points. I'm sorry, but this is the way I decided it to be.

So now for the good stuff. XD What EXACTLY do you win? Well, I'll tell you.
First place winner receives one January Thank You Letter. They are free to do whatever they'd like with it.
Second place winner receives a free avi art, ordered by myself, so I get to choose the pose. Sorry.
Third place winner will receive a total of 3,000 gold. Hey, you could buy some cool stuff with that gold. 0:
I hope these are adequate prizes, and I'll try to look for someone who has some photoshop skills to make a banner or two for the winners, most definitely first place. So think, you could get a pretty photoshopped banner! 0: Amazing!
Which brings me to ask the guild, is there anyone who would be willing to photoshop some banners for our winners? I'd do it myself, but I don't have it. It would mean a lot to me. : )
