Alrighty then. First off I'm new to the guild. Hi!
Okay, so I was thinking of making a Sparta-related roleplay thread for all of you to enjoy, and I wanted to gauge this communities interest in such a roleplay. Pretty much, do you think enough people in this guild would be interested for the effort of coming up with a plot, making a thread, and getting excited about it? For the record, I'd rather it be something on the small side. Ten players max.
Though I don't have any specific plot ideas yet, I was thinking something that would focus more on the Spartan society than military endeavors. I mean, we all love violence, but an interesting RP demands something more.
Questions to answer:
Would you be interested in this?
Regardless of how you answered the previous question, do you think there would be enough interest from people other than yourself?

Well, I've never seen the movie, but I know some members of this guild like it. My vice captain, lurkindarkness, would probably join. We (the mods) encourage anyone to make roleplays.
I'd join too if I had any idea what it was about. sweatdrop

Well, I was just kind of like "What the hells?" and I went ahead and made the thread. Yeah, I'm not very paitent sometimes. We shall see how this goes down.

Oh, so it's not based on the movie? Excellent, that means I would be able to join! I'll try moving it, though I've never had to do this before...
If not, I'm sure lurkindarkness can move it.

As for the movie? I found it to be irrelevant in my life and others--
One because the majority of people are cowards D<
Two because I know a lot of people with that theology, and they get ******** up the a** every time because of that previous statement, but thats a personal issue I won't get into.
And finally, it felt like a video game I couldn't play. ~.~... The only part I really liked is when that guy got knife ******** by the queen. Otherwise? Yea.
As for an rp, go for it! :3 That would be a lovely and interesting thing to pick up and develop. Like, the ultimate example of valor and courage and then all of those who don't live up to that? And the corruption that results from therein.
Also? The spartans had men and women seperated from birth so... they tend to be very gay (er, homosexual not ona funny tip) and most of gaia is into that. Yeno, like how it's more honorable to figth and like, love your fellow warrior n all that.
SO-- yea, go for it. =D

While it sounds nifty, I know approximately jack s**t about Sparta (and amn't about to see the movie, no time,) so I wouldn't feel competent playing in such a game.
