I was wondering if this would be a good idea: If someone was spamming or breaking the rules in the ED, or just posting things that would go in the chatterbox, they would recive a temporary ban from that forum only. If they were banned from the ED multiple times, a permanent ban may be in order. Also, if someone is banned temporarily from the forums altogether, then they would be banned from the ED longer than any other of the forums. What are your thoughts on the subject?
(I did not put a pollwhore option, because the members of this guild should not need one)

Not a bad idea, though it would certainly entail a lot of work on the site designers' end.

It would be easier, really, for us and the site admins to just create a new site for ED. There would be too much work for everyone if there was separate banning. Its impractical, but it would be highly effective.

How's this for a solution? People must pass an exam before they can post in the ED. All of the questions on the exam will be based on the ED posting guidelines sticky. It would only be compulsory for people who receive warnings from moderators.
