So, I hope you've all realized that I have a long-time obsession with Harry Potter. So, naturally, I have to make a thread about the seventh and final book that's due to come out in about a hundred days.
Deathly Hallows. That is it's title. It's by the amazing authoress, Joanne Rowling. By the way, please, for the love of God, don't come in here to Potter-bash. I might try and mentally hurt you if you do. And I know I can't, but that won't stop me from trying really hard.
The cover art was finally released, so here it is! This is the UK cover, the same one we get here in Canada. It frightens me.
This is the US, which I think looks more like Harry Potter but otherwise sucks.
And this is the adult UK cover, which we also get in Canada.
Strangely enough, it was my German teacher who first showed me the covers. I walked into German, on time for once, seeing a few papers on my desks and thought "Christ, I'm gonna have to move somebody elses' papers before I sit down." I get to my desk, and they're the Harry Potter covers, printed out in black and white! I think I might have hyperventilated.
On to... Order of the Phoenix, the movie!
So, it should be coming out sometime relatively soon... but for now, they have movie stills! And, therefore, I have movie stills! Woo, movie stills! The only thing that got better was Cho Chang. Everybody else got worse, with that bloody side-parted hair that I detest so much.
The kids at the Ministry of Magic with the Prophecy.
Luna "Loony" Lovegood and her earrings.
Harry and Sirius.
Harry with his not messy, not black hair, and not green eyes.
Harry on trial with the Wizengamot with his not black hair and not green eyes. And he's not supposed to be wearing a bloody suit, either! Mrs. Weasley was supposed to have ironed his best clothes, a shirt and pants. Nobody appreciates Mrs. Weasley, do they? crying
Ginny Weasley. She finally looks like a girl! Perhaps she's finally grown boobs, even!
Ron Weasley. Roonil Wazlib. I'm sick of his hair changing every bloody movie according to Muggle trends! Harry's, too. It's pissin' me off. And in this picture, Ron looks gaunt.
Cho Chang, Ravenclaw seeker! See, this picture I like. I like her bangs. I don't know how she became a bloody Ravenclaw, though. From what I've seen, she's a blubbering idiot with bad tastes in friends. Die, Cho, die. (Ron: I don't care if my tea leaves say "Die, Ron, die!" I'm just gonna chuck 'em in the bin where they belong.)
Lucius Malfoy. Well, he never really changes, does he? He changed his hair a bit. Daroff wants his cane/wand, by the way.
Delores Umbridge. She doesn't even look like a toad! *Growls.*
The Golden Trio in the Forbidden Forest, wearing Muggle clothing. Gods, how I despise the retards who felt the need to do this. They're wizards, for Gods sake! I'd feel nekkid without my robe!
Her hair is supposed to be bushy! crying
When they're kicking out the fraud, Trelawny.
Finally! Finished! Woohoo! And I think I'll still like the movie, regardless of all the complaints I had about the pictures. Still, I think they should've had pictures of Gred and Forge! Er, Fred and George.
Kai's handling the entire "Snape" area. Er... and I'm not sure whether that's supposed to be a perverted joke or not. And... since there was no pictures from Order of the Phoenix of the twins, I had to take one from Goblet of Fire, just so they'd be included. Being amazingly awesome and all, y'know.

:V Hurray for indulging in a complete addiction. I'm going to s**t myself when the book finally comes out. And again, a week later, when someone can lend it to me. xDD
So. I wanna know who thinks what's happening next book? O:
Edit: Yes, I am the Snape Master. Snape: And I am the Potions Master.
Yaaaay twinz! I love twincest. xDD <33

No twincest for Pie. *Covers delicate ears.* xD Well, some people figure Snape's gonna end up not being evil. And my German teacher reckons that Draco's gonna play a big part, which I'm hoping for.

I myself think that Draco will fall out of the main plot, and be just another Death Eater. =/ But for your sake, I'll hope. xDD And as for Snape, no redemption for him. Pbbt. ><;

I don't see how he can be a Death Eater. But I also don't see how he can't. He's too cowardly to be a Death Eater, in my head. But he would enjoy romping around, killing Muggles, with an inflated sense of authority. Plus he'd be too cowardly to not be a Death Eater.

You know how many icons I could pull from my library, right now, all of them screaming at people who dare call Severus a coward? xDD
In my own opinion, he isn't cowardly. He's too self-directed to follow the orders of Voldemort--I can't see him snivelling before the Dark Lord, kissing his toes. He's also too opinionated to be much of a "good guy" in the Wizarding world. I believe that he would best fit in in an obscure part of Knockturn Alley, milling about and being particularly sullen, and not much else. He's his own wizard.

Gods, no, I don't think Snape is a coward. I think Draco's a coward, mostly because in the books he is, regardless of whether I enjoy thinking it. I agree, Snape is definitely a self-directed wizard. Also, my computer's spell-check underlines Snape every time I type it. *Click.* "Add to dictionary". Woohoo!

Bad Luck Jynx Gods, no, I don't think Snape is a coward. I think Draco's a coward, mostly because in the books he is, regardless of whether I enjoy thinking it. I agree, Snape is definitely a self-directed wizard. Also, my computer's spell-check underlines Snape every time I type it. *Click.* "Add to dictionary". Woohoo! Oooooh. Well, now it makes complete sense. Yes, as much as we love the Malfoy boy, he's a coward, as well as an enormous tattle-tale. He loves seeing other people suffer; he and Aunt Bella are going to get along just fine. x"DD

Yep, as long as you remember to bring the tools and clear out your backpack. xD
Er, Snape favoring the Cruciatus? Probably. Git.

What kinda tools you figure we'll need, Gred?

Politically Correct Kai I meant that Draco would favor the Cruciatus. D: < Snape's not a git!
What kinda tools you figure we'll need, Gred? Well, I keep getting confused! We start talking about one person, then you change it! Christ! Draco would favor the Cruciatus, yes. He's a slimy git too, y'know. And Snape is so a git! "Slimy git", if I recall correctly.
Hmm, 'unno, Forge. A screwdriver, probably a wrench, possibly a hammer.
