Yellow daisy.
By Artistic Writer
Blue sky above
Brown soil bleow
A yellow center
Pettals that fall
White clouds cover
the yellow hot center
The pettals fall harder
rain...
One single daisy...
One high in the sky
thats how sister described
the sun as it flies
I looked to my left
and saw a little brown pot
A dieing yellow daisy
withered and wraught
Sun poured through the window
it opened with a flash
I shreaked in happiness
My science prodject would last!
Not My Flower
By Cookie -n- Cream
Prom, Red flower
Birds, Orange rose
People, Yellow daisies
Goat, Who knows
Flat swirling greens
A good place to live
Trampled and matted,
Dirty and ripped
Shreaded to peices
falling so slightly
a Man tall
who has stepped on my flower
shall pay
My flower
not his
My power
not his
My life
My flower
My beautiful blue rose
Not my flower?
Utter embarrassment
Its his?
This weed?
How could it....
Timeless Petals
By Ruler of All Cheese
A mother held a tiny child
In her loving arms
A rose-splattered blanket around the babe, all the while
Just to keep her warm
A tiny tot, stumbles through the home's halls
Chubby fingers clutch a crayon
A bright purple rose scribbled on once-white walls
Would be this little girl's plan
Five years old, friends gathered about
The young girls all adorned
In pink princess tiaras, with perfected pouts
Yet for she, only a rose crown shall be worn
Seven now, first soccer game
Bruises and scraped knees
Forgets woes in a heartbeat, no thought of pain
On the way home, at the roses she sees
Thirteen, boys at the front of her mind
Cherry lip gloss and mascara
And then, unexpected, the perfect find
A red rose pin to wear her hair up
Eighteen, long-awaited prom
Stretch limos
