There are a lot of aword fighters in the Fire Emblem series, and a lot of lords use swords as well. The question is, which do you think is the best? Mercenaries, Swordmasters, or even a specific Lord; what's your opinion?

From what I recall...
>Sword master = crit person, however, unless you stat him so he get's crits every two attacks or so, he is just another fast character (I have gotten my crit to be 80%)
>Assassin: the only thing that makes assassin good is the fact that he can IKO, and even that is hard to do...
>Hero: Sword and Axe.... Although great against countering lancers, it's still a little bit too slow

Well, I know who loses as a sword user, it goes like this:
Falcoknigh>Wyvern Knight> Eliwood class change.

I like Swordmasters because I'm a speed demon and most swordmasters are extremely attractive. Karel*swoon* Though I still favour magic over weapons.

My favourites are blade lords and heroes. I can't go into much detail here, as I don't know much about stats, but those two classes always seem to have worked well for me. 3nodding

Swordmasters and Heroes.
I dont care what people say about Karla but I made her stronger than a lot of my other characters that were at level 20!
((Canas still kills all!))
