Ska is some good stuff. It makes me happy and (more importantly) makes me want to dance. I was wondering how many other people in this happy little punk group enjoy ska as much as I do.
Some awesome ska bands:
Reel Big Fish
Catch-22
Streetlight Manifesto
Mustard Plug
Save Ferris
Mighty Mighty Bosstones

oh s**t! Sorry About that!! stressed but I left out alot of bands (Five Iron Frenzy, Goldfinger, Less than Jake, Operation Ivy, Old No Doubt, Voo Doo Glow Skulls, etc...the list goes on and on)

kill my tragedy oh s**t! Sorry About that!! stressed but I left out alot of bands (Five Iron Frenzy, Goldfinger, Less than Jake, Operation Ivy, Old No Doubt, Voo Doo Glow Skulls, etc...the list goes on and on) yea but you have no 2-tone, add the english beat and the specials

there is no more ska scene, kids into ska are ussually mall rats who spend all there time on computers or playing video games.

I love Streelight Manifesto, but I don't listen to much ska. It's not that I don't like it, it's just not very available to me.

idrinkmilk there is no more ska scene, kids into ska are ussually mall rats who spend all there time on computers or playing video games. has there ever been a ska scene? a local band is going to try to start one here by playing a bunch of shows with local bands but the only thing is most ska bands dont want fun anymore all they want is money, greedy bastards

There just aren't enough ska shows around, so instead of going out to shows (because we can't), we sit at home and jam out the music we despretly want to hear live while, generally, playing video games or doing silly compy stuff. I saw Reel Big Fish live. They were amazing.
